Ladies.....Vodka is never optional..and always mandatory..And if you two get together for a couple of Vodkatini's, just remember to invite along some Sycology into the mix.
I can mix drinks o.k. and almost always can balance two drinks on the serving tray next to the pool.
I also won't take offense to you two giggling at my accent.

I can't even understand Freesleazy. I don't know how I would undetstand Canandian ?!!!!!!!

OMG Kam and I were at a baseball game a couple of weeks ago and Detroit Tigers were playing a Canadian team. These Canadians were sitting behind us. They were loud and drunk and every other word was either a curse or "A". I was laughing so hard. The spectators and even the security guard stared messing with them.I wonder if they ever made it home without getting their asses kicked?

They probably thought it was a hockey game and couldn't figure out why you Americans saw your sticks so short, and why the Goalie was so good at catching the white ball like puck...

we did chicken strips on the grill. got a big try of bone less chicen breasts, they were soo big one would feed us both, so the other half I made strip out of them. then yesterday made pork cutlets and mixed veggies and mac and cheese. just wondering why the mix veggies were so sweet, ask the wife if she put sugar in them , she said no. but they were tasty.

Re: Whats cooking?
Kam grilled up some steaks tonight. I'm getting the feeling he has been in Louisiana to long and it's time to go home. He put a rub on the steaks last night to marinate and give them a nice extra flavor just to be a little different. My mouth is still burning. The other day he stopped by at lunch and said " I decided to pick up some fried chicken from this place that makes a great fried chicken. I'll have mine later because I have to get back to the office." I took one bite and started sweating!. We went to dinner in New Orleans. I ordered Chicken Parmesan. I took a bite and again my mouth was on fire "cajun chicken parm? Really?!!" What the fuck! Can't I get food without spices that make me feel like my mouth is on fire. And for the record....it would be nice to warn a person! And the people here, including him taste it and say " that's not hot it bearly has any any heat to it at all." Seriously, I think they burnt the nerve endings off in their mouth. What do people that can't eat that stuff do if they live here. Oh they do have another obsession here.SQUIRRELS!!! I'm not even kidding. The schools close for opening of squirrel season and many stores close.Everyone has talked about it and looks shocked when I say I have never eatten squirrel. Apparently I have been told the legs are the best and I am missing out on some delicacy. I plan on keeping it
that way! Oh wait there is one other food staple here .... well I guess its more than a food staple because it is used for many things includding but not limitted to home decor and accessories like key chains or earrings. Alligator.Yes you read that right. Alligator. They hunt them I guess for sport. They eat them, they cook them in more ways than you can imagine but Alligator parmesan is a big favorite. They also have alligator heads everywhere and they sell key chains or charms made out of the feet or teeth. Maybe you want a nice neckless with a matching bracelet and pair of earrings made of genuine alligator teeth. I always thought they were protected but I guess not. I also can't understand what most people are saying here. They all seem so polite and sweet but I find myself watching their lips as if that might help me understand what they are saying. I am not even joking.Kam and some others have been translating for me. I am going home tomorrow for a few weeks and I think it's a good thing or might start saying things like, ya'll and calling everyone darlin or baby.

Re: Whats cooking?
Really Free, you're calling me a wuss? You really dont want to go there. I am definitely not a fan of any hot spicy food or anything bitter. I have found that I am really sensitive to them both. Its one reason I don't drink alcohol. It tastes very bitter to me. To much salt is also not a favorite. I can normally tell you what spices are in something just by tasting it. Especially if it's a dessert. Kam is as opposite me as can be with ore taste in food.He likes things heavily spiced and anything salty like chips. I get low or no salt things and most times lightly spiced.

You know ...I've killed almost everything that walked or crawled, but I've never let the air out of a Gator.
I've had Horse ,Rattlesnake ,Mountain Lion, Bighorn ,even Muskox, but I've never had Alligator, what does it taste like?

Fun I am with you I want to bake some apple pie! With lots of cinnamon I can't at the moment but I wish I could.lol Only 4 more weeks and I don't have to worry about fitting in that damn gown! Besides I hope to have my new stove by then also. Okay I guess I better look for a low cal apple pie recipe.

Does anybody have good recipes and ideas to use Pure Cane Syrup? I have never used it for cooking and baking and I know you all love to cook. There are hundreds of ideas online but wanted some that people actually tried and can recommend.

Oh and everyone I asked about gator said it was a bit gamey tasting but good.
