Storage Wars Texas
I got into watching the original Storage Wars on A&E.
They are showing Storage Wars Texas today.
Please tell me these people are not representing Texas over the whole country.
If they are, I may have to go crash a show or two.

Now you know how I felt when they did shows like Jersey Shore, NY Housewives and NJ Housewives, And Married to the Mob
My kids have thrown the Jersey Shore kids out of places they worked. They are not from down here but just come here with the other people referred to as Benies for the summer.The are idiots and no one likes them locally.
NY Housewives are a collection of the most obnoxious people they could find that think they are the socialites of NY. They are just obnoxious people that most NY'rs wouldn't want to be seen with.
NJ Housewives are basically same story as NY Housewives in a different state.
The show Married to the Mob is a group of women from Staten Island (Where I grew up) that happen to at some point had some connection to someone who had a connection in the mob.If you lived on Staten Island trust me you knew someone , dated someone or married someone who was connected to the mob but you didn't talk about it!!!!
I don't know if any of these shows stayed on or not because I don't watch them.I do know I saw enough (clips) to know that it is a waste of time and that watching a show like these would most likely lower peoples IQ.I do know Jersey Shore was cancelled because they are always all over down here and it was a big deal when it got cancelled.

i have not seen any of the other shows and do not watch the storage wars very often. I know some friends that go and buy storage units and he was telling me about it. so had to check it out. I watch more of the DIY network. ok so i am boring.

Have watched both - the 'drama' gets to be abit much for my tastes . I'd like to say it is a soap opera for me but I know a lot of men who can;t do that drama either! LOL

i've seen both, and sometimes i think it's all set up, or fake. why don't they ever show the other people in the crowd bidding on certain items, and the "pricey" things always seem to go to the "stars" of the show. i'm sure that some times they get out bid and it get's edited out.

The show follow certain people. They do edit out others. For one thing they would need talent releases for everyone they show in the nonpublic areas and besides it would take away from the so personal dynamics between the so called talent.There is a cast of characters.It isn't exactly scripted but it isn't exactly as you see it either. They re-shoot things, edit things and have them "react" in certain ways for the sake of the show.They also claim things are worth a certain amount with no verification at all. You really can't take it to seriously. They have these types of shows because they are so cheep to produce that you almost can't loose money on them.Lets face it, if you only pay the "talent" a couple of hundred bucks an episode it doesn't take to much effort to sell ads to make it back. I guarantee the camera guy makes more than the talent.The people that see themselves as the talent are happy to get their 15 minutes of fame. Many of them also have a business that they get to plug throughout the show.There is very little reality in reality shows.

Yes, to make the show a little more dramatic they do plant things in the bought lockers, it is TV afterall.
Dave Hester quit the show after some disputes and came out publicly with the information about the planted items and made claims that Brandy was gifted a breast enlargement surgery to make her sexier for the show. Who knows exactly which claims are real and which ones are not...afterall, it is just TV.

First none of you can complain about the shows they do in your state until you lived through "Jersey Shore". They are so dumb they had to come up with a new IQ test to test so low.
And those guys that might think things on TV are real, I have a few things to sell you.
