Amy's Baking Company. The insanity!!!!
Has anyone seen this episode of Hell's Kitchen? It's on the web if you want too. If you've been to the restaurant you have to tell us.....Amy's baking company in Scottsdale AZ.
I have known some crazy chefs and business owners but these two are the craziest. I have seen this and wonder how they are not in jail. They take all the staff's tips. They make them do things like wash their car and they have also fired or had quit over 100 employees in one year.Chef Ramsey gave up and left for the first time ever. These people are abusive to the staff and the customers.They claim to be religious but use worse language than most people I have ever met.The wife intentionally tries to spice food to hurt customers if they complain.The husband tried to get some customers to pay for food they never got and went after them physically when they refused to pay.I always wonder what makes people think it is perfectly acceptable to treat people that way for no reason.

They're newly appointed PR firm, claims that and all the other stuff was taken out of context. They further claim, that the night before antics were clipped and pieced together to make everything look worse than it was.
Try checking out the tube for more interviews and stuff. It's pretty entertaining. They make claims that they were hacked in all their major accounts (ie; FB, Twitter, Yelp, etc...) So any comments that were left, bashing the public were from vicious hackers who are trying to stir up trouble from them. It's pretty funny to watch...

If they have been hacked how come it took them (I think its 2 years)so long to do something about it. This didn't start with the show. This started when they got a bad review from a food critic.The wife went off on him. It has been in the news for a long time. That's part of the reason the show went there. The restaurant was not doing well due to their attitudes and nasty nonsense as well as food. The show went there to rescue them. They thought they were going to have Ramsey come in and say they are wonderful then get all the free publicity. She even said that's what she was looking for on tape.They have complained this is a conspiracy since they started this mess of a restaurant.The one good thing is the place is clean. By the way she did get praise for her baked goods from Ramsey but it turns out those are not made by them either.. They repackage them.

I guess last night was their grand reopening. The report on the event says that, "the cameras were replaced with armed guards." They were there to keep the peace, both inside and out. Apparently, she hired a PR firm to handle the backlash, but fired them prior to the opening, for failure to do anything from a possible lawsuit violation from producers of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares TV Show. They had planned to bad mouth Ramsay in public before the opening, but the lawyers got wind of it before the interview and squashed it with papers served. Amy fired the PR firm, claiming it was their idea (the PR Firm's) for the interview. The PR firm claims they warned them (Samy & Amy) of this happening, but were ignored. They claimed it was amicable to separate themselves from the restaurant and it's dealings.

But stupid and crazy are different.You can be smart but still crazy. Just look through the history books.

Okay there is an update....These two idiots are worse than originally thought.It seems that because the husband was taking all the tips from the staff the public got a huge petition going and apparently had the labor board checking on these jerks.
But wait it gets better. The husband is from Israel and it turns out that because he lied about a record for drug distribution, threats and extortion, he has been under investigation and possibly going to be deported. It is also reported he is banded from Germany. I believe due to the same issues.You would think people that have a background that is sketchy at best would want to lay low. lol

When will it end?... This was funny. I checked out a guy who posted the pages from, "Amy's Baking Company" website. Every picture of her signature dishes are stolen from other websites. One of them pictures her famous, "raviolis" on its own page, but the photo is an exact match for the picture of a plate of, "Chef Boy-R-Dee Raviolis". Picture for picture, this guy tracked down where they were stolen from. She at least has some taste, stealing from some folks like; Martha Stewart, and Paula Deen, she knows no bounds...
Also, I heard Mirande, the server whose tips were taken from Samy, that she since left the restaurant with her own drama. After the airing of the show, customers started leaving tips under the table and tucking them in her pocket secretly. Samy found out and claimed she was stealing from him. On that night, she had received a 5$ tip. She ended up throwing at him and left, quitting her job. She said when she returned to the restaurant for her final paycheck, she was met with both of them (Samy & Amy) yelling at her about her thievery and how she (Amy) had called the cops to arrest her. Miranda said she waited outside for them to show up, but was only met by Amy's new security detail, there to ensure their lives, since receiving all those death threats. She was escorted off the property, check in hand, and now has an awesome job working for a, "Cracker Barrel" in Scottsdale.

They wont be around much longer. The pastry was all baked elsewhere and repackaged. Her food is either pre-made or bad and they are under investigation from the IRS, Labor board and immigration. The attorney general is also involved. I am surprised they haven't locked up and ran away yet. I am even more shocked that people haven't sued them over some of their antics. If they would ever have shoved me the way they did the guy that refused to pay a bill for food he never got I would have had the police there in a heart beat arresting him for assault!

I pulled up "Kitchen Nightmares', and viewed this episode. It was hysterical, except for the servers having to put up with their shit.
I give creds to Chef Ramsey for keeping his cool, and speaking the truth.

The amazing thing is these idiots called the show asking for help. The wife thought he would come in and sing her praises because he can be a bit ruff around the edges himself. But when he saw how bad the food was and even worse how bad they treated the staff and customers he told them exactly what he thought. This started way before the show. They had been in the news in AZ for I believe two years. There was a bad review published and the wife went nuts. It all snowballed from there.You would think if you were under investigation you might want to lay low but I guess not in their case.

I had to laugh at the fact that they had cameras all over that place, even before Ramsay arrived. Wouldn't you be on some kind of nervous like, "best behaviour" with them watching your every move?...These cameras, if you watched the whole thing, weren't small or hidden. They had to be bolted to walls, both in the kitchen and out on the floor, and they still acted that way.

The reason they didn't change their behaviour is because they believe they are fine and the rest of the world is against them. They claim it's a conspiracy. They say it on their online posts and interviews with the media.They really believed that Chef Ramsey would prove to the world that they were right. They wanted someone to affirm their greatness.I bet any therapist in the world wold tell you that that couple needs major therapy.
