Re: buds a poping
Yep its finally warm. I just hope they fix the roof before the mold gets so bad in the walls I wont have a freakin house!Between the pollen and mold from everything being wet no one can breath around here.We have all been living on allergy meds and nose sprays. It's getting bad. They have had a few alerts already posted and it just got warm.I'm hoping once they get some of the still sitting storm debris from the trees out of here this week it will get better. I HOPE!!!! I have been hearing a lot of stories of people that didn't realize how the dampness got into all the walls and they thought their house was okay only to find they had that black mold coating the entire inside of the walls and under the floors. I will be so pissed if I find out I have that problem too. I don't think so. I think I would have known by now. Just keeping my fingers crossed. At least we have seen sun for a few days now and was able to turn off the heat FINALLY.Hopping they start the roof by next week, unless there is another set back.
I also hear we are about to see the locusts with in a week or two. They are supposed to be out in record numbers and for about 6 weeks. YUK!!!

There are also 4 o'clocks. That open in the afternoon hence the name. I always thought it would be interesting to have Morning Glorys and 4 o'clocks together where some would always be open.

Re: buds a poping
Now if they could just invent a flower that would grow in what I jokingly call my yard and make it so I couldn't kill it and the animals won't eat them or kill them. Impatience were pretty good but can't get them this year because they are all infested with some virus or something.I do ok with marigolds but my kids never remembers to water them when I'm away.lol Geraniums are ok when I put them in hanging baskets but being they haven't fixed the gutters soffits and roof yet I wont have those this year. Silk flowers just don't do well outside or look as good so those are out. I need a lanscaper so I can have a nice yard but I need to hit the lottery for that first. I have a pretty big yard. I could start stealing my banks flowers. They always have such perfect landscaping.I guess when you have a bank you can afford a landscaped. The greenest things in my lawn are the weeds.Sadly I'm not kidding about that part.
