Spring Time

We do a lot of burgers, brats, beer can chicken is real good but we used root beer when we did ours. I love most of my meat cooked on the grill. Tonight it will be burgers, tater salad, tuna salad and chips.

Well, the citrus is picked right after a good freeze. Strawberries in Feb. Blueberries and watermelon coming in season now.

Ladies, it's so simple. Havent you ever gone camping? You fill up a kettle of water and boil it on the grill. Geez! Have sauce, will travel!

i'm sure you could just precook it, put it (sauce and all) in a foil pouch, and toss it in the gar...err i mean on the grill.

just like making break fast over the open fire, we had to do that once in grand portage mn, ran out of gas , but were haeding back to wi anyway,but ya you can fri up your meat and boil noodles and such , make garlic bread too.
but for grilling, we like beef and pork , chiken ,brats hotdogers . toasted buns now were living

You mentioned that last year...so I tried it....it kept falling through the grill and putting out the flame.

Hey, there was one time that I stayed at a Motel 6 that didnt have a micro wave, a coffee maker or a hair dryer in the room. That, My Dear is ROUGHING IT!!!

only thing i didnt like grilling was ground turkey, it all went though the grill and landed on the lava rock wat a mess, not sure if we should of mixed bread crumbs with it .

Yes I have done a lot of camping, but did not have a grill for cooking all the time.

I'll pack an old wire fridge shelf along to grill over the fire, I'll transfer coals with a shovel to a second stone fire ring and grill over that.
Another thing I'll ALWAYS pack along with me is a Wok, with a lid, and not a frying pan...you never have to find a level place in the coals for it, and it won't tip over to easy , and it's great for heating water.

I bet that would work good. we have done peack cobbler while camping.

going to lower my sadle bags so i can pile more things on them and tie down , also need a a rack for the sissy bar .helps hold up the backpack,do i need spers for my steel horse? was looking at a nice pair the otherday to go along with my chaps , but i dont have to kick this one....
