. Thx Free. Just barely got in, cell may dump on me before Im done, damn frustrating. Shit, just got this replacement cell about 3 weeks ago, just started sucking battery power out. Another one is expected on the 25th.

Thx Syb. Update, other than one small misty moment, today stable, and today was marked the 6th week of her passing, did ok. Starting to get my silly sense of humor back. Im just a silly old man, whatever age I am today. You guys were right, cant power grieve, let it run its course, let it out. Works better. But bury another one, its just the cats and me (Unless any lady wants to come here to live with me, lol)

Sometimes I really want to take up a collection or ask if anyone has a spare computer to send him. His phone issues do grate on me sometimes. I know they tell him he can do everything a computer does but they really are not there yet. They also try that crap with tablets but the truth is they are great for a quick weekend away but if you spend a lot of time online with them you will find that they just don't have all the capabilities as a full computer yet. Perve likes spending time on here and it probably costs him more in aggravation and data than if he had a computer.I remember thinking I didn't want to go the way of high speed internet and all the bells and whistles years ago. Then I thought about. I get most of my entertainment, email. work, communication as well as research and my kids school stuff through the computer. It was well worth it to upgrade. It saved me a lot in the long term.I could not be without internet these days. I didn't have regular internet for a month after the hurricane and it drove me crazy!
Hurry up Perve get back on here everyone is going through Perve withdrawals!!!

I just talked to his son. Perve is in the hospital and not doing well at all. It's not likely that he's ever going home, but they're looking for a nursing home for him. His son said he'd keep me informed as to what's going on with him, which I will let you all know when I hear something. For any of you who may have his phone number, dont bother calling it because he cant answer it. Sounds like a good time for some prayers

I hate to hear that, I would have hoped we would have him with us for a lot longer.
He joined several sites when he found this one, here you all showed him patience and friendly warmth which he did not find elsewhere. I'm grateful that so many of you got to know him better and give him the true friendship that he so needed, I'm grateful to have had the chance to get to know him and what a good, good person he is.
You all made a tremendous difference in this man's life. Absolutely tremendous
