Open season on Sy....
I have been witholding something from all of you, and for good reason.
I have purchased twenty breeding ewes...
That's right...I have sheep.
May the good Lord help me, in the persecution that is to come.

Re: Open season on Sy....
I kinda like them..you can go into their winter paddock and not worry about getting trampled, they are quiet, and gentle.
I have them to take care of the napweed problem on a 100 acre hillside . Napweed is an invasive weed from Europe that is taking over the interior of British Columbia.
L+H ,...velcro chaps work better if you tuck their feet into the top of your boots, and Kiss.....are you ever going to talk to me again without laughing ?

So I recieved my Dorset ram today...and he arrived with a harness that has a paint marker on his chest.
So when he breeds the females , he leaves a red mark that they have been mounted and bred.
He's one ugly S.O.B. with an attitude like Craig Ferguson. I think he and I, are headed for a disagreement on who's the boss around here.

Ok, just qouting anational talk show host who was a miner in Arizona years ago, and dont blame me, ok? Laughed my ass off, paraphrasing. "having sex with a sheep is ok, but too far away to kiss them, but you get a nice wool sweater." (Don Imus) On the side, a few years ago the organizasion I ran thier big recycling warehouse for asked me to represent on a Saturday at the refuburshing of the train, station. Same one Wyat Earp killed some ppl. So I went, full uniform, warehouse coodinator badge, I was 10 feet away from Imus brother Fred, and he looked just like anyone else that hung around the the downtown city bus center when I was homeless, fit right in. Fred, passed away a couple years ago, at 69, now I wish Id approched and talked to him. He was very low key, I laughed my ass off when he called in to his brothers radio show. And the then former Tucson mayor, (retired) spoke, that guy was ad nuckin futs as I am. Glad I went. So hows things in sheepland Syb, lol.

You'd think my neighbor miles away...with 1400 acres, wouldn't care that a fence line is out two feet,.. like I'm going to, have it surveyed, move it ,re-wire it, and put new posts in, so he can gain an acre. I suppose he thinks I have nothing better to do...anger management is starting to look pretty good.

You already know I don't own a pair of shorts....that was a trick question...but I will go outside in the middle of winter with my boxer briefs on ,and cowboy boots.
Wether I look like a dork is a matter of interpretation.
You also already know I can't swim so I don't own a pair of swimming shorts either...it doesn't matter what I wear I sink like a anchor, I'm way to top heavy, and my heads far to square.
I also don't own runners, or sandals,.. so Yes I'd have to wear boots...if in fact I owned a pair of shorts to expose my Canadian whitened legs.

So what does a cowboy look like in shorts? I wanna know. I know what Free looks like in shorts. I can imagine L&H in shorts, but not a true blue rancher/cowboy. Do shorts and boots go together. You mentioned you can dress yourself without looking like a total dork, right?
You already know I don't own a pair of shorts....that was a trick question...but I will go outside in the middle of winter with my boxer briefs on ,and cowboy boots.
Ah, so you ARE a TRUE BLUE rancher/cowboy.
. Agreed. Syb is true blue regardless. What a great guy...........for an asshole, lol.
Thanks Perve...your alright to...
Kiss I'm only true blue when my knees start to knock....but I'm a little more hot blooded than your average cowboy, so it takes a little longer for me to cool off, and turn blue.

FYI I'm more the guy the cowboy works for, and it's very rare I call myself a cowboy.
BUT... I do shoe my own horses and never quick them to bleed, I do my own brandings, I can rope fairly decent, I cannot build a saddle, but can repair one.
I'll walk around you a hundred miles to avoid a fight, even if you manage to hit me first, but strike a friend or woman in front of me...you'd better arm yourself if your going to behave like that.
I very seldom wear a hat anymore.
I can hit a stationary target from the back of my horse at a dead run at 30 feet with a 30-30, and can hit a tin can from my hip with a .45 handgun almost every time..I am very good with a 16 foot bullwhip..but I don't ride off into the sunset on my friends,...like the ones I have here.

At 3 A.M. I got up to do a check on the stock, and threw on my boots....saw my reflection in the window......I do dress like a dork in the middle of the night.
Boxers and boots do nothing for me.
