Re: Gloomy Day
Yesterday cool, and spitty all day. Today, sun is shining, a slight breeze. I can hear a baseball game going on. Going to a friend's house to grill steaks and I heard there will be cake. Chocolate cake with cream cheese icing.

Re: Gloomy Day
I just found a new recipe I can't wait to try.
Frozen berries, dry cake mix, and 1 can of sprite. yummy cobbler. It sounds so easy - and it is good and weight watcher friendly! Ingredients
Two 12-oz bags frozen mixed berries
1 box white cake mix (no pudding)
1 can of diet 7-up or sierra mist (clear soda)
Instructions
Place frozen fruit in a 9x13 baking dish. Add dry cake mix over the top. Pour soda slowly over cake mix. DO NOT stir the cake mix and the pop - this will give you a 'crust'. If you stir the two, you will hsve a cake like topping.
Bake 350 for 45-50 min.
You may be able to use frozen peaches instead of mixed berries.

Re: Gloomy Day
It's bright and sunny here today! Add in the fact that it's 32 degrees and 10 to 20 mile an hour wind makes it feel 18 to 20 degrees, and you got a good reason to stay in...

Re: Gloomy Day
Wow there is a sun! I haven't seen it in so long. It so beautiful out I want to open all the windows. Unfortunately I shouldn't do that because my daughter and I would not be able to breath by tonight.Damn allergies. Okay it might be worth it for a little while.Seasonal allergies are a pain and I try to ignore them because I love being outside. I figure that's what antihistamines were invented for.So I am breaking out the allergy meds and saline and opening the doors and windows. I might even open the sky lights. It is supposed to get up to almost 80 by Thursday. I am shutting down the heat for the season (I hope).
