Why do we dream what we do?
Why do we dream what we do?
And, do you dream in color? I do.
I just dreamt of a girl from High School, who I never liked as she would call me a whore.
In my dream she looked the same as she did back then. She wore a vivid green dress, one I am sure I've seen her wear before.
When I asked how she had been, she began to tell me of a recent mastectomy surgery.
I use to dream I was running because I was being chased by a snake or a bear.
I've also dreamed of fights with jealous girlfriends of some men I've know, or other conflicts.
What do you dream of?

I always dream in color,.of an experience I had overseas, or of a dark creepy area ,up in the highlands, when I was stalked for over an hour by a black bear, and always of beautiful women that have touched my life in one way or another,...you know it's funny,...they always have giant boobs.

The last time I had a dream about chocolate syrup, I woke up in a cold sweat and craving pinwheels... It was all sort of sordidly detailed with a little German kid telling me the water was fine and jump right in to the moat of chocolate syrup, while those nasty Keebler elves stood about with devilish grins on their faces...wooo. it's giving me piss shivers just writing about it...

I have very realist dreams. They seem to be in color. I have had some creepy dreams that seem to happen and those bother me the most. I dreamt my great grandmother would die. It woke me up and I couldn't breath so I took of this necklace that she gave me. She died at that same time. That was weird and freaked me out. She always had dreams about things that happened.She always knew who was having a baby and what the sex of the baby would be.She was never wrong.
I also dream of flying a a lot. I would see myself climbing out of my bedroom window and just fly around my neighborhood and feel the wind. It was always a good feeling. But nothing more than that.
The other dreams that have got me creeped out is I have dreamt for years of my oldest son dying and I am at his funeral. I wish that would stop happening. I wake up in a sweat and can't sleep when it happens. I have dreamt my other son was arrested.I dream of my daughter with some type of angle or something like that always around her and sometimes talking to her. I know they are strange and have no idea why I dream these things but I try to think of other things when I go to sleep hoping that I don't have those dreams.They all freak me out.
I like when I have sex dreams. I tend to do that pretty often, They do get really strange but I think sometimes it might be because they are combined with something I was reading or watching before I went to bed.
I know there are theories about why we dream what we do, but I am not sure if I believe any of it.I do know that if my mind is on something then there is a good chance I will have a dream relating to that issue.Other dreams seem totally random like the ones about my kids.

I had a dream last night that I was on a plane, and there was this bunch of strange people on board. They all kinda knew each other, but they were all introducing themselves.
There was this musician with a glass of wine in his hand, and a guy that was always trying to take his clothes off.
There was this other big guy with a cool hat, talking to a dude with a suitcase full of sex toys near him, and a horny hot chick on his lap with a New york accent.
Up in first class , there were all these women having a party, ....then it turned into a total nightmare...they wouldn't let me in there !!
And all the while there was a good looking blonde stewardess, with a Missouri accent telling everyone to settle down.
The pilot kept shouting over the intercom..."No sex in the Lobby !...and throw the sheep farmer out the window"
But I had a plan...I had smuggled in a bottle of Crown Royal....but I'll keep that part to myself.

I day dream what I do or see my self doing, I dream deeply and sort out my baggage and hang ups. The brain is working to help us sort it all out when we are conscious and sleeping, emotions fears etc are always firing in the brain like a freaking lightening storm until the plug is pulled.Super cool shit.
I especially sort out music and history in my head while sleeping.
