He's still naked
Seriously, our friend is going through a tough time. We spent a lot of time together today. He's a good man. Say a prayer. Send a good thought. Do whatever you believe in. Just take a silent moment for him.
And on a better thought? He's doing "mildly" ok. In case you were worried, and I know a lot of you are. He appreciates everything during his time of loss

Thx Chazzy, and yes I know what tour going through. Trust me, and this is for all, be prepared. Have a support network ready. Keep all documentation, no matter how ignigsicant it may seem. Have a total plan in place, makes it much easier to handle grief. I sound self centered, but its the aftermath is what intensifies all the rest. Like my dumb ass, I wasnt prepared and now Im scrambling like Im on crack. No good. Oh, and its not a bad thing to talk to your partner about death, and prepare. I always figured Id be the first to go. Btw, Im in the process of rehoming the pups, they were hers. One was gone tonight. The cats, I wanna keep, to take care mine, and her siamese looking mutt I got for her last summer. Should have seen that girlish look as I wheeled her back in mammas arms. Priceless. Just to see that look on her face when she got that kitty, Id have gotten one every day. Loved to see that lady happy.

Just rehomed her other chihuahua. Cannot handle them right now. Kept the bandit faced cat I got her 10 months ago. Shes a keeper. Plus have my cat too.

The ole perve is recovering quite fast. Letting things happen, not like the one 12 years ago that destroyed me for three years. Gone from ups and downs, mostly downs, to, I have my moments. Was actually gonna cook this morning, got the sausage partially thawed, put it back in the fridge, got a bowl of cereal. But did get my floors mopped. And yesterday, got her other chihuahua rehomed. Now its just her cat, mine, and me. Like a whole new family. I liked it the other way, but that way is gone, crap.

. New perve update. Been just 2 weeks and a day. Seem to have made a quick recovery. Not going through the 3 years of hell I did with the last one that passed on me in 2001. I know more what to do now. And just decided not to have a roomate, just not gonna do it again. The next cold body that gets dragged out of here, will be mine. My damn turn.  . I have had more support here, than in Tucson. So much appreciated, really helped. About ready to go back to my old self, and help others.

Wtf, did someone not get the memo? And I thought I was screwed up, damn. But as per instruction, I was forawarding it to her trust attorney in Texas, dammit, had a major moment. Wanted to go to the hospital, scream, and just whiopin some serious ass. I am so angry now. I gotta get her things donated this week, this tough ole bird, cannot whip this. Second time Ive been through it, never gets easier, dammit.

Ya Ma and all, I leaned years ago, how to grab resources, not be a hermit. In fact her part time caregiver/companion, (to give a break), spent the whole day with me Monday, nice black lady. She stopped by for a couple hours yesterday, will be here tomorrow. And yes, Im still naked.

Went all morning and afternoon, no moment, then a little one after 6, but came out of it fast. I just remembered the day I got her very own kitten. She held that 6 week old little girl close to her, and she didnt have just a smile, but was glowong as I pushed home in the sheelchair. I never touched pride for 2 days, as they bonded on her bed. Damn, I was so happy for her. Now, Im taking care of her cat for her and mine. Now hers and mine are buddies, play fighting, chasing each other. Great entertainment, make me laugh. A new little family.
