Read This Damn It!
He's not going anywhere. Especially if I have anything to say about it. Ole Perve is going through a really rough time right now, and again. But I promise, with our help and support, he's gonna be alright. Scarred and heartbroken, we cant change that, but he'll be alright. Give him some time and he'll be back to his crazy old self. He just needs to know who his friends are right now, and you guys are certainly showing him that.
Yes, this is a sex site. But what makes it different, what makes it real, is that we all care for each other. We look out for eachother. Thats what we do.
We've seen relationships develop and blossom. We've co-miserated others that were breaking up in personal lives. We've lost people to horrible diseases, like we did with Liz. She was a special person, tragically taken too soon.
However, I dont care what tragedy has happened, Chazzy's Dad or Brother, Kiss's Dad, L&H's Mom, Newbie being stuck in devastating storms - once we know about it, the response is always the same - Prayers Coming Your Way. Good thoughts coming your way.
And the same thing holds true for when something good happens to one of us. We share in the grief of sadness and we congratulate and share in joys.
I'm gonna be the first one to say it. When Perve first got here, I thought he was a bit "out there". Im not ashamed to say it because Ive said it to him. But the truth is, he's a kind, warm, caring and giving person and I'm proud to call him a friend. As long as he puts some pants on.
Keep loving eachother. You're a great bunch of people and Im grateful to know each and every one of you.

yeah. coming here and seeing all the heartfelt thoughts and messages from everyone here made it a little easier when my mom left us. like Free mentioned, we lost Liz, i was just a fledgling member here back then. but we also lost Smitty, and Goody left us to grieve the loss of her son...everyone here is like one big happy family...

we just lost a fishing buddy , was kinda wondering what was up , we cant get him on the phone and past his mom, than we seen him last year the wife said half past dead look. was told he died, obit in the foto news , no services at his reqwest, have to look and see were if he was even planted, funny how they finally let ya on ssdi or whatever when ya got your foot in a hole. it kinda tripped our switch, all our freinds are dropping around us. perv sent me a note the other day, sent back your fab too....

Yep, perv may have seemed to be a bit 'out there' to some at first, but he has been nothing but kind and friendly from the very start to everyone.
We would have a huge void here without him, I can't imagine logging in and not seeing his newest posts or his messages in my inbox.

Funny that I forget it's "sex" site at times. I also want to repeat something I have said many times through the years to people that question "online relationships". Just because you have not met someone physically doesn't mean you can't get attached and get to know that person if they choose to tell you about them-self and you choose to listen and vice versa. Whether or not you meeting in person or not has nothing to do with the fact that people still have feeling, opinions, beliefs etc..We all have our own personal stories in life about good and bad and the online stories and relationships get included with them.
Perve I hope whatever it is you are dealing with is dealt with soon and you get back to a place that you can feel like its okay to laugh and have fun again. I can only speak for myself when I say, I know what it is like to go through hard times weather its a death of a loved one, a near dear or serious illness or injury, disastrous money issues and the list goes on. It sucks but we have no choice but to deal with these things. What makes us want to get past them and helps us get past them is what is on the other side of the things your dealing with. What I meanis the people around you care about you and want you around and the people that have left this world that loved you would never want you to be in pain a morn to long. Life is to be lived and its okay to be in the dark places and work things out for a little while. I believe it's good to do that...as long as you don't stay there to long! Take your time to do what you need to do with whatever your issues are, but then remember to kick yourself on your naked ass and get back in the game.
