Re: Everything and anything you can think of to do with WD40 , Duct Tape, Electrical tape,Zip ties, & Swiss Army knife.
I saw the duct tape myth buster. In Vegas the Blue Man Group store sells duct tape wallets. My kids made them from the time they were little. In scouts they used to make all kinds of stuff out of Duct Tape. The funny thing is the only thing it really isn't good for is Duct work.lol
With all the funny things you can make out of these things the thing you should remember is that if you have an emergency kit with the things I listed , it will most likely be of great use to you in an emergency. If you can't think of some use for the items I listed maybe you can tel us what you have used some of them for.
In my case I used electrical tape and zip tie on a dive trip when I had a rented piece of equipment. The hose was not connected well. A little electrical tape and a zip tie and we were good to go. I would have had to miss the dive if I didn't have it with me.

Re: Everything and anything you can think of to do with WD40 , Duct Tape, Electrical tape,Zip ties, & Swiss Army knife.
You haven't seen my yard since the hurricane. It looks like a redneck yard. I have the 1958 jeep that my son is rebuilding. Then there is the car that was totaled in the car accident my kids had on 12/12/2012. Then there are all the downed limbs from the trees since the storm and each wind storm since brings more down. I have the storm door that was ripped off in the storm as well as a chair that got ruined. Nothing can be thrown out until the insurance company pays up and the town picks it up. So all I need is a couch out there and a few teeth to fall out and I will be a red neck. The sad part is my neighbors have some of the same stuff. Cruched cars and trucks from trees coming down on them and TV's that blew up. I just haven't put the TV's out. lol
The emergency kit was more of a Boy scout and SCUBA hybrid of somethings I should always have. There are a few more things in my emergency kits but those are the staples in every kit. I have different kits for cars, camping, diving, house, etc.My sons thought it was funny that I had one of my emergency kits in an Este Lauder case. They just said "That has to be a first. A designer emergency kit." I only had it in there because the bag was prefect size and waterproof. It was originally for cosmetics.Besides who said an emergency kit has to be ugly?

Ive found the cheap dish soap works really well for degresing hands.
Microfiber cloth makes excellent wash cloths
If you live in a place where it gets cold, carry a Bic or similar lighter. That way, if your car lock is frozen, you can thaw it out by heating the key

As long as he wipes the massage oil off, and gets rid of the scratch marks you leave from your nails...there shouldn't be a problem.

DD DD DD DD DD DD DD DD DD DD
DD DD DD DD DD DD DD DD DD DD

The problem is to get Alla to bestow your 20 sets of DD's...you need to buy a black balaclava, swing on monkey bars for a couple of months, fire a AK-47 at random airplanes you'll never have a hope of hitting,...then strap some ....C-4, to your waist, and be stupid enough to turn yourself into a roadside stain.....after thinking it through, I'd settle for a single set ..thanks.

Re: Everything and anything you can think of to do with WD40 , Duct Tape, Electrical tape,Zip ties, & Swiss Army knife.
I left out velcro ties as well. In the car you should have a pair a pantyhose as well. It works as a fan belt or other type of belt for a short time. It should at least get you off the highway to a service station.
The problem is I would hate to have a cop search my car . Every time they show or talk about what a robber, kidnapper and or sexual predictor has in there their car the list is as follows.Duct tape, rope, electrical tape, zip ties, pantyhose, flashlight, velcro ties, knife and condoms.DOES THIS LIST LOOK FAMILIAR TO YOU? I always find myself yelling at the TV "NO YOU IDIOTS! THAT'S HIS EMERGENCY
KIT!!"
My car kit has all the things I listed plus a first aid kit, blanket, pillow and and a few other things you are supposed to have.I could live out of my car for a few days if I had to.

I was hoping they wouldn't notice...as it turns out , the R.C.M.P. don't have a sense of humour about that kinda thing.
They also don't think it's funny, when they send their best attack dog after you when you've had a few to many vodka's, and you give chase thru a cornfield, and they find the both of you playing fetch a mile away, like long lost friends....the dog liked me.

Re: Everything and anything you can think of to do with WD40 , Duct Tape, Electrical tape,Zip ties, & Swiss Army knife.
I actually had a customer of mine give me a rocket launcher as a tip once. I didn't really know what it was until my then boyfriend later to be husband said "Do you have any idea what that is" I just said "NO" He said "do me a favour if that guy comes anywhere near you again call the police! He gave you a shoulder rocket launcher!". Later, when my boyfriend asked what I did with it and I told him I just put it out with the trash and left it next to the can for bulk pick up. He was so shocked I wasn't in jail. Could you imagine if I got pulled over? I drove through 2 states with that thing on my car seat.
Just a couple of other times I got to laugh however the people involved didn't.I was hanging out with some friends as a teenager. We were taking turns on a friends dirt bike. One of the grumpy neighbours down the road called the police to complain. When the cops got there they asked us all for ID. Some of us didn't have ID on us. One of the guys that didn't have ID told the guy his name was John Smith . Of course the cop thought he was just being a smart ass and told him if he didn't tell him his real name he was going to be dragged to jail until they found out who he was. John kept saying "Ask my friends they will tell you that's my real name" We all just stay there saying nothing and shrugging our shoulders for about 10 minutes. He was so pissed. His Family happen to drive by and see us so they stopped and confirmed he was really John Smith so the cops let him go.
Not to long ago I had a family member that owns a plane travel to another country in his private plane. This is not an unusual thing he does this with a friend of his about once a year. For some reason when they came back and made a stop I think in Miami the Home Land Security grabbed them. They were interrogated for over 5 hours and honestly treated very badly. Home Land Security not only told them they were not allowed to have lawyers but they were told they couldn't contact anyone. They tour apart the plane and claimed they found drugs.(There were no drugs). If you only knew these two guys you would know how ridiculous that claim was.One happens to be a celebrity and is as clean as you can get and the other is an executive at a major network, the most he ever did was get a speeding ticket he doesn't even drink. He got drunk maybe twice his whole life. They were very upset by the whole ordeal. So Kam and I find out about this and I'm sure they were expecting sympathy and outrage. OH KNOW!! One has a birthday coming up in a few weeks. So Kam say's I know the perfect gift for him.We go out and buy the movie "Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay."

Yes I was interrogated once by your homeland security,my truck ripped apart, questioned for hours strip searched , and profiled....when they had me down to my sock feet and underwear, they asked where I got my scars on my chest and back.I told them" defending your country, pencil neck"
It just got worse from there, so I put on my clothes walked out in the main lobby, and strolled out the door. Eight guys ran into the parking lot, and said "back inside"
After another hour, they released me, black listed me , as I told them what they could do with their freakin' bullshit..the odd thing was they found nothing...no record, no drugs, and an honorable decorated discharge from the military....with my hand on the door to leave I said "It's a cowboy hat,...not a turban"
No insult to anyone that has friends or family in border or homeland security..but the entire ordeal was just ridiculous.

That's basically the same thing. There were no drugs no laws broken no nothing. Not even a parking ticket in years. It was stupid but frightening. And not a damn thing you can do. It's not fair that people that do nothing wrong get treated like that.

I am guilty of being a little mouthy, but I believe thats not against the law..same thing happened to two other guys I know,at the same border crossing, and after several beer,..we decided we were targeted simply for training.
We were also guilty of driving large black diesel trucks, and wearing cowboy hats.

If they locked you up for cow boy hats and trucks most of Texas and Florida for that matter would be behind bars.Besides I have issue with homeland security or any other security/law enforcement agency that will start locking up cowboys. However if they need someone to frisk a few cowboys I would be happy to do my civic duty and volunteer.

I have to agree with everything Newbie said, same goes here we would have a lot of people locked up. And it would be a tough job but I would volunteer for that job also.
