as of March 15th 2013, MSN (hotmail) Messenger will no longer be in existance, Microsoft has announced that the popular instant messenger will be retired, due to the purchase of Skype. all users will have to either give up the service, or download Skype/Windows live hybrid instead.

Does/will this include regular ppl with regular hotmail email accounts? Will they vanish too? I do not know Skype, from any other word that ryhme with Skype.

it's all just hype...Skype is a decent thing to use. i think you will still be able to send emails via hotmail, and if you upgrade to the "hybrid" all your MSN contacts will be on Skype, and you can still chat with them, but no video chatting, which sucks, but hopefully once it's fully integrated, they will change that.
