Snowed in..
So there is 3 and a 1/2 feet of snow ontop of my driveway that I plowed last week..and I'm not going anywhere...anybody know what cabin fever is ?...and what are the first symptoms ?
Good thing I have seasons 2 and 4 of 'All in the Family' on DVD. That should keep me sane..

Season 3 was the one with Edith's voice gets to a higher pitch for some reason,..I couldn't handle it.
So I gave it to Chazzy, ....unfortunately for me , she incorporated it into my beddazling job on my saddle last year. Oddly enough...because of it's reflective qualities, I never got shot at this hunting season, which for me is a first.

The snow is an ice crystal, so it's alot like sand and can't get any traction with my tractor, even with chains. I'll have to wait for the temp. to change so it firms up. My driveway is about a mile or more, with a very long hill at the end, so sliding backward at the creek doesn't excite me much. They wouldn't find me till spring.
So split firewood today, oiled and cleaned my guns, talked to my dogs,...and considered cutting my own hair with my vet clippers....Oh yah, and fed my horses and cows.
My heat is wood stove,..so nothing to go wrong there, my boiler for in floor heat doesn't come on all winter unless I go away for 24 hours.

Time to go geothermal. Tractor needs weight. You can put on wheel weights and gain 50kg while your snowbound. You can also cut a hole min the ice and jump in. Just to get used to the water.

Wheels are already filled with calcium...and I fell thru the ice once, and being a white boy and very cold ...lets just say the shrinkage.. wasn't good for my ego.

Re: Snowed in..
So dug myself out half way, got past the bridge and creek...only had one holy shit moment, when the tractor slid backwards a ways....the wheel hit something frozen solid to the ground. I realized it was the pile I left.. when I shit myself.
Then some Indians came along on snowmobiles, and spent some time on the mountainside, watching the stupid paleface struggle with the snow on his driveway. So I finally stopped the tractor and yelled to them asking what they want......They yelled back [because they were a safe distance away].."Do you know what you, and snow have in common..?"
I said "NO"......they said "your both white, and your all over our land"....
You know that was pretty funny...assholes

Yes I remember well filling tractor tires with calcium in south eastern Washington. Nasty crap.

I think my arms are too short for my body. "arms too short for my body"? That snowed in stuff, is making you halucunate. What next? Need to set my head on the table, cause its too heavy when I need to go take a whiz? Dont know whats in that Canadian snow, but you need to export some of it to your southern friends.
