Another Round
I know this doesnt mean anything to anyone here except my self, but after a few years of pain staking work, I just copyrighted 14 new songs.

don't be so tough on yourself...your music means something to a lot of people. your songs about 9-11 were amazingly written lyrics.

Ok, I never even expected a response on this, but you guys have blown me away with all of your kind words. Especially what L&H said about the 9-11 things. Thank you. Thank you and thank you again. Im better at writing lyrics than I am at writing music. The following story is total honesty.
This was from a member here. I wont say the name, location or gender. But this person sent me a note because of a song that I had written and posted on youtube that said that they had been seriously been considering suicide, but kept listening to those words in that particular song and decided not to do it. WHAT? I was blown away and couldnt even take a breath. I'm sure you can imagine, my face went grey. At first, I was shocked, but relieved. I never knew words could affect someone in that way.
I cant tell you a happy ending, because I dont know it.

Ok, I lied. I copyrighted 37 in May, 2012. These 14 are new since then. Poor Kiss gets them from inception to the studio version. And for some reason, she still talks to me. If I were her, I would shoot me.

I suppose an artist never really knows how his life work will affect people, and sadley, most never know until their work is complete ,and they have quit, or are gone from this world.
Wether, a painter, sculptor, poet, or musician, good work will stand on it's own,..through the ages of time, and be seen or heard....there is an understanding , but sometimes it is eventual, taking time to be viewed as a example of culture , and have meaning.
I for one find myself fortunate to have come to know you and your music....and I suppose you should find yourself in the same light knowing your words mattered enough to a person in need, and to help...that is the greatest compliment.
Sometimes.. it's not just a song.

Music, poetry, art in any form can be very powerful and effect people in ways that some people will never understand. I think that might be why I get so offended by censorship. I want the artist, no matter the art to fully express what they were going for. Those are things that should not be tampered with.When you hear a song like Eric Clapton's, Tears in Heaven I think you know what I mean. Could you imagine if some radio exec or censorship guy came in and changed that some. It would loose its whole meaning.Art is important in all its forms.
