Im not sure what it is about him. But even as he gets older he still has it. He does not come across as he is a gift to women like a lot of the actors.

His rangy physique, thick horseshoe moustache, deep, resonant voice. Elliott was referred aa "super bod" following his 1976 movie, Lifeguard. In 1998, Elliot was named the grand marshal of the Calgary Stampede parade and rode in the procession before 300,000 spectators.
Only thing, he doesn't have blue eyes.

he's got the unique talent of portraying two different styles of characters, he can be a bad ass, or a cowboy. and he does both well. two of my all time favorite movies are Tombstone, and Roadhouse. he's not the lead role, but his part is nearly as important in both movies.

I loved him in Roadhouse! I agree with LNH he is the bad ass and the cowboy. A lethal combination, then add in that voice OMG!!! I Dated a guy for 12 years that I met on a web site that had audio. It at some point added video as well but at first the text and audio were it. This guy was one of the "top voices" on the site. People asked me all the time if he sounded like that in real life. lol He did.He had a great "voice over" voice.
I know there are some guys that just ooze sex when they speak. Some in the way they carry them self. But when you have a man that has all the things you think you want (Here is the general list in no particular order) 1) Hotter than hell good looks, 2)Sexy, make my panties wet voice, 3)Just the right amount of cockiness mixed with sensitivity and gentlemanly qualities. 4)You just know he knows how to be great in bed and is willing to prove it, because he truly loves women.5) Intelligence that will keep you engaged forever, 6)A sense of humor than can get you out of the worst mood.7)He can dance.8)Into sports but wont ignore you for a football game if you are standing there naked.9)Likes to cook and does it well. Then you have the perfect man. Of course that man doesn't truly exist, although we can get pretty close and prioritize to get the perfect man for us.But guys like Sam Elliot are the fantasy. We don't know him in real life and chances are never will so we can keep the fantasy going in our head.

No Syb, I have had this debate before the so called perfect guy does not exist nor does the perfect women. We are ever changing for one thing.Besides that is a partial list if truth be told. I can get more specific.My best friend and I sat on the beach when we were about 16 years old and made a list. The list changes all the time. That's the problem. The things we want at 16 are not the same as what we want at 30 or 40 or 50 etc.I think we find what is best and closest to what is perfect for us at times.
I honestly feel that I found a guy as perfect for me as I have ever gotten. But I don't make those types of lists anymore. My priorities have changed in life.The fantasy person is just as I said a fantasy. If you can find someone that can be your best friend and lover and keep you smiling and make you laugh. If that person is the one you look forward to just laying next to even if its just to sit and read a book. If you have sex and that person makes you feel like he or she loves you so much that you can trust them with all of your feeling and totally let go then you know you are with the perfect person for you and hopefully it goes for both of you.
