Product reviewers
Ever run across those? You go to order something online and check the customer reviews. You go to the lower or bad reviews and it's full of irrelevant and dumbass posts.
A coffee maker I really like and have always had a great experience with finally needed replaced, hubs was going to place the order for me and started reading the reviews, the one bad one star review read something like this..
"I give this coffee maker one star, it made a mess on my counter top when I opened the lid while it was brewing, it dripped condesation all over my counter"

Re: Product reviewers
Ya know, with online reviews so easily accessible, I try to read reviews on almost anything I want to buy before I buy it. One common denominator that I've found is that there's going to be a certain number that absolutely love it, and also a certain number that says "dont waste your money". I tend to try to average it out to come up with a more general consensus answer.

Re: Product reviewers
The most recent dumb review was posted by a woman who gave a product the lowest rating. It was for kitty litter, she always bought the clumping kind but she didn't read the lable and ended up buying the non-clumping kind and had to return it (without even using this product she gave a low rating to) so she was giving the non-clumping kind a bad review because she made a mistake and bought the wrong kind...does not even make sense.
The coffee maker review, dumbass! You don't open the lid on any drip coffee maker while it's brewing and not get a bit of a mess.
Review thyself, those who are unworthy of internet!

Re: Product reviewers
I refer everyone to my previous post for the online reviews of hair removal cream on Amazon.
There, that plus Google should get you to the URL.

Re: Product reviewers
Reading reviews regularly including tonight, obviously I had the same experience that you all have. I love the the ones that say "I received it a few minutes ago and LOVE IT!" "It's so cute!" "I highly recommend it." Then they check off all the quality stuff as being "great", long lasting: Great! Works just like advertised :Great!
Then you get to the end of the review and the last line says "I can't wait to try it!" Seriously?
Or the ones that hate it because they wish it came in a different color.Or order something that glass then get angry and give it a bad review because they drop it and break it.
I loved the one the other nigh for a french press. it says right on the description "Generally when we mention "cup size" in regard to a french press we are referring to a 4 ounce cup size" She then complained because she ordered the 8 cup french press and could not figure our how many ounces they use in a cup measurement because it only holds 32 oz. She actually said " Is that 6 or 8 ounces.? I can't figure this out and this is stupid because no mater how I figure it doesn't add up to 32." lol
I'm always shocked when I read a well written intelligent review that actually has to do with the product.

I don't know about that. I DO know that ya don't remove the pot from a coffee maker while it's brewing if it doesn't have the auto shut off.

"Look! We've figured it seventeen different ways, and every time we figured it, it was no good, because no matter how we figured it, somebody don't like the way we figured it! So now, there's only one way to figure it. And that is, every man, including the old bag,"
