Dont Talk Politics
The Thursday before the Presidential Election, I went for a haircut. I'd only gone to this a guy a few times before and it was only because my regular girl was forced to close her shop. Well, it turns out that this guy is as big a political junkie as I am. Nothin wrong with that. However, the more we talked, the more he kept cutting. I'm looking down at the apron on my lap and thinking "I hope to hell that he's not charging me by the pound!" And even though I didnt request it, he took my sideburns off. Now it's over 3 weeks later and I saw my brother yesterday and the first thing he said was "Where did your hair go?" Fortunately, my sideburns are somewhat back. The moral to the story? Dont talk politics at the hair salon unless you want your neck to be cold!

So we can't call you "Shaggy" anymore ? ....and don't talk politics in here either ! I had the same thing happen awhile ago , getting my haircut..I mentioned your Presidential election to her, and said " When they talk about Romney, being Mormon, why do they put the extra "M" in the middle ?" There was a pause of comprehension,then a fit of laughter, then I had a temporary bald spot on the side of my head.

No danger here. I havent seen the inside of a barber shop in many a year. I.e. Long hair rock and roller hippy type deal.

----------and that's why i dono't go to places where the hair cutty person has to talk all the time. I've been going to a REAL barber shop for over 15 years.
My favorite? The last time I went to Cost Cutters here, the girl didn't want to cut the front of my hair the way i wanted it. She said "it won't cover"..
I asked her if we were going on a date.
She said no.
Then she cut my hair the way I wanted it.

i got it...but i have kids....and have been subject to watching the Scooby Doo movies over and over and over...and isn't THAT ironic...as i'm responding to this, i turned my tv on, and guess what's on...

Had a haircut today, don't look to much like a jarhead. Never had "burns" on the side so I made it through O.K....but now my hat is loose, and I'm feeling weak....oh and yah , the little hottie doing the slicing ,she just had to mention the progress of the grey hair..

Hair. What I dont have in volume anymore, I make up in length. And since its falling out anyway, I dont wash it. You wouldnt wash something, then throw it away would you? Well? Doesnt seem to make sense.
