oh the ironies life gives us sometimes....
two states legalized the use of marijuana, and within a week, the news that Twinkies will no longer be available hits...ironic, isn't it?

Word has it, that Twinkies may be around still. I heard two companies are interested in the sponge cake business. We may have to call them, "El Twinkies or Viva-la Twinkies". There's even a possibility they may work it out with the union and keep the brand.

They are not only going to work stuff out with the union, it's doubtful that the bankruptcy court was going to allow liquidation with the compensation packages for the CEO-etc.

i heard that technically, since Hostess is under contract with other companies to distribute the Wonder Bread and Twinkie brands, they can not liquidate those assets. but idk...
