RED!
It seems after a couple of years of nude or pink lips, red lips are back in fashion. Red lips are synonymous with timeless glamour, elegance, passion and seduction.
I know I use to rock the red lipstick!
What comes to your mind when you see red?

Not a fan of red, or bright red lips. I think of the glamour shots women do. They look so much more glamorous "not made up" rather than the trying too hard look of red lips, mascara black eyes, and puffed up hair. I so like the natural looks of a woman

Red lips have never been "out". Although they are more popular some years than others. The proper way is if you do a strong lip the rest of your makeup is supposed to be softer. If you do the dramatic smokey eye you should do a softer lip. There are more reds than you can count.Not everyone can or should do the dark deep reds. I look better in more of a burgundy rather than bright red, however in general reds and dark lips in general are not for me. I have eyes that lend to the dramatic which is a better look for me than the dramatic lip.I tend to stay with a more natural color on my lips or a pink family or even mauve.I haven't worn "red" since the 80's and even then would only be for a specific reason like a show that the makeup artist did everyone in a similar look.Just not for me. I hate when people wear anything just because it might be the big thing that year. You still need to look in the mirror and sometimes say "that's just not a look for me". Does anyone remember that orange was a big lip color a couple of years ago. YUK!!!I could not believe how many people tried that and should not have.Reds and more specifically wines and burgundy are big this year so if you like those colors you will see lots of stuff to add to your holiday list.I happen to love those colors, just not on my lips.

Let me qualify that. Red lips ARE sexy, but not every woman can pull it off. On some, it just doesnt look good and on others, it can look stunning

Trust me Red lips looks weird on me. But those who can wear them have an extra benefit. Red lips makes your teeth look whiter as well.
