Well, my generation would call that the shortest date in history. Part of getting a woman to like you is her unwillingness to bed you that first night. It could work out one of two ways. First, your lousy in bed, for which he'll never call you back. Two, he beds you and your great, but then every date needs to be the same as the first in both sexually and intensity. Once it starts to ween, he'll stop calling and the relationship will dissolve quickly. I've always found that if the woman's looking for sex on the first date, she was never really looking for a relationship for the long haul anyways...

In general NO. But it happens at times and I have known a few it has worked out for. But then again it was the seventies and in the seventies sex and drugs were very common and not to big a big issue, however I don't recommend either to be taken lightly. I will say the only time I would consider it is if maybe you had a friendship first and even though it might be a "first date" officially there was a relationship so it really is looked at differently.I don't believe there is one rule fits all and you need to look at why you choose to do things and what you want out of a relationship.

I've had sex on the first date , and it lasted for a fair bit.....and I've waited for as long as 6 months......she was a just slightly older than myself, careful, and really hot.....for myself it was one of the most intense, and satisfying experiences of my life...we damn near killed each other...and stay in close contact to this very day.I usually follow the three date rule however.

My late gf, before the relationship, was quoted as saying, "I know what he wants, he will never get it from me." And, "He is a drunk with a harum." Hmmmmm, lived with her the last 2 years of her life. Needless to say, there was no sex on THAT first date, lol.

STD's can happen on the first date or the 20th.
I think the big mistake is people think they can tell who has them by looking or talking to someone. So insane to be that naive these days. Even the nicest and cleanest people can have an STD and many have one and don't know it. The only real way to know is to get tested. I know people say " its embarrassing at my age" Really? I would rather be embarrassed than get one if these things. I always made sure I drilled it into my kids heads to get tested and they do. I wont be a Hippocrate,I get tested when I have my bloodwork done at my physical every year. Being in a monogamous relationship has made it more of a " just because I tell my kids to do it" kind of thing, but it just makes sense to me. My doctor laughs every year. He said I am the only 50 year old patient he never had to talk into getting tested. Most people past 30 think it can't happen to them.
