Spooktacular Halloween Events
Spooktacular Halloween Events
Village Halloween Parade
New York
A Big Apple tradition since 1974, the Village Halloween Parade is the country's largest public Halloween celebration. Thousands of costumed marchers, 50 bands, hundreds of giant puppets and dozens of performers strut down a one-mile stretch of New York's Greenwich Village.
The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze
Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y.
In October, tens of thousands of visitors flock to Van Cortlandt Manor in New York's historic Hudson Valley to feast their eyes on more than 4,000 hand-carved, lluminated jack-o'-lanterns. Elaborate scenes:
10-foot dinosaurs, giant spider webs, an undersea aquarium with sound effects and synchronized lighting.
Dell'Osso Farms Corn Maze
Lathrop, Calif.
Nothing says autumn fun quite like a stroll through a corn maze, and this family-owned farm in California boasts one of the most colossal labyrinths in America. Sprawling across more than 25 acres. About 100,000 fearless souls brave the maze every year, which takes about an hour to complete -- unless you lose your way.
Philadelphia
Today, many believe the prison is haunted by former inmates
and officers. With its rusted bars, crumbling cellblocks and decaying furniture, this abandoned prison in Philadelphia is the perfect backdrop for scares. Terror Behind the Walls, an annual Halloween attraction at Philly's Eastern State Penitentiary, features creepy animatronic creatures, Hollywood-quality sets and a cast of more than 200 actors -- but the star of the show is the prison itself. Opened in 1829, the imposing structure housed notorious criminals such as Al Capone and Willie Sutton.

I will tell you, I was glued, and taped into the top of my Wonder Woman costume. I didn't want any slippage, nipplage.

Re: Spooktacular Halloween Events
There were so many times, in my childhood, that I wished Linda Carter would have gotten dizzy from all that spinning around that, she fell to the ground, and had her outfit come unfortunately done on the rock behind her, causing her ampleness to spill out of the gold haltered top of her outfit...Yea, like every guy didn't want that to happen...
