It's official Kam's a grandpa!
Kam has a beautiful new baby granddaughter. Haven't gotten to speak to his daughter yet but she actually sent me a text.(I know, I couldn't believe it either. I just wanted to sleep when I gave birth) I believe both mom and baby are doing well. Can't wait to see them. Wish I was with Kam at the moments but unfortunately we are in different states at the moment. Will see him Friday. So happy for them.

I called your Mom at about 5PM and she had not heard from you yet. REALLY? She said your sister was asking her if she had heard either. She said "I knew there was no way she could still be in labor. I'm glad someone let us know we are Great grandparents!"

I think he was wrapped around her finger the day he found out she was coming into this world. He tries to act all tough but I know the truth.LOL FYI,I have found a few other thing that get him to melt as well.

T he baby is even prettier than her pictures. Kam just melts when he sees her. It's not hard to do. Kam's daughter is doing so well. Its hard to believe she has only been a mother for a few day's, shes so good with the baby. It seems motherhood agrees with her in a big way. I know its going to be hard to leave them to go home. It's amazing how such a little baby can effect us all in such a big way. I love seeing them all together. One of the things I love about Kam is the was he was with his daughter. They are very close. It always makes me smile when I see them together but now that the baby is in the mix its even more interesting. Its so rare to find families these days with the closeness that I see in his family. You cant help smiling.

You're right Ma. We get to give them things that we would never give our own kids and watch their parents cringe. We can enjoy them without being the one responsible for changing diapers. We can discipline them without wondering if we're being too lax or too strict. And I know this is cliche, but we get to send them home!
