Give me happiness and comfort
Give me happiness and comfort. Someone needs to make me a couple fine loaves of pumkin bread. It's such a seasonal delight, all warm, aromatic, a little spicey....reminds me of a dear Aunt that passed about 15 years ago, she always made me pumkin bread.
That would make me very happy on this dreary chilly day.

Im still working with my new bread machine. Trying to conquer simple white bread. But Im sure Ill get it soon, each loave comes out better, and will look through the book for pumkin bread. Relax, I can do it.

I can make cake and cookies, and found a good banana bread recipe. And yes, pumpkin is seasonal. Grab it while you can.

my sister makes Zucchini bread. that's almost as good as pumpkin bread. the head cook at the place i work, she made a Zucchini pie, but you'd never know, because it tastes just like an apple pie!

Perve look on the internet for bread machine recipes. You'll fine so many you're going to have a hard time deciding what to make. I've had a bread machine for over 20 years . I love it. You have to know what size loaf your machine makes because some make larger loafs than others.
Many times you can make a dough in the machine but finish the bread in the oven. Example cinnamon rolled bread or challah (that has to be braided) or even Pizza

Yes Newbs, thats what I was thinking. Use the machine to do the mixing (the hard part), then put in my bread pan till the yeast does its job, then to the oven. My bread has come out tastey, but heavier than I want. Thx

In my bread maker book, found pecan pumpkin bread, and apple. But others here have been very helpful, so will be able to find one with walnuts Chazzy. Leave your winter clothes there, come on down and I will make you fat.

I just found this... seems worthwhile.
Two Ingredients Pumpkin Cake
1 (18.25 ounce) package spice cake mix
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
'REVIEW"
I first tried it with Spice cake and it was delicious. Next I tried it with Carrot Cake and I liked it even more. With the Carrot Cake mix I added about a teaspoon of Pumpkin Pie Spice, 1/2 tsp cinnamon. The only other variation that I made was I added 1/3 cup of Almond Breeze Almond Coconut milk. It help thin the batter a bit and was so moist.
