I'm Not Ready
Foor Summer to wind down! Damn, it seems like it just started and already, it's getting dark an hour earlier than it did just a few weeks ago!

yep that it is, and our leave are very yellow and hitting the ground too, they say due to no rain, it dry now just like last year too

I'm in denial. I refuse to let summer end. I'm not letting my kid go to school or my other move yet. I wont put on long pants or a jacket. I refuse! My AC is still on.....My sons outdoor bar is open. Its still summer. The boardwalk is still open and busy its still summer in my mind.

He had a great season.Thank you for asking. I think he is going to stay open until at least Halloween or even Thanksgiving if the weather co-operates. They have fire pits and the locals seem to love it when its open in cool weather. But if it gets to cold then that shuts them down because everything freezes.

I'm trying to think happy thoughts about summer being over.
1)I can wear my boots.
2)I can wear my boots.
3)I can turn my AC off.
4)I can wear my boots.
5)Black thigh high suede boots,tan fringe suede boots, brown ankle length boots, black ankle length boots, purple ankle length boots, riding boots, flat cream color boots, stacked healed brown boots, black knee length boots, burgundy knee leather boots with gold accents, cream boots with strap accent, blue shearling boots...I'm starting to feel a little better.
I might get through this after all.

I guess it's just me, but in my head it's playing, "The Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah -- cause Hallelujah, it's gonna get cool, cold, and downright my kinda weather AND very soon!!! I even had a friend share the other night she looked ahead in the almanac and said it looks like winter might be a little more rough this year in my region of the country than it was last year. Did I tell you I was hearing the "Hallelujah Chorus" play? Hallelujah!!!!!! Who knows what amount of winter lurks in the hearts of guys like me -- "The Shadow Knows!!"

I love fall...When else can a guy wear a pair of shorts and a flannel shirt and not freeze or sweat to death?... Except spring, but you run the chance of getting wet and flannel isn't fun when it's wet...

Correction..I don't"like boots". I need to go to a support group for people who love boots. It is a definite weakness. My daughter drags me past the shoe stores and shoe sections of stores when they start putting out the boots.I even remember the first pair of Italian designer boots I bought when I started working and could afford them.
I don't drink or do recreational drugs. I like clothes but don't like to shop so I don't go crazy buying clothes. I figure if I have to have a vice and addiction this is not so bad. The best is that I have NEVER paid FULL RETAIL for a pair of boots I have bought.It is like a challenge to not just get the boots but get them at a discount. You gotta love it! By the way I have a pair of snowmobile boots too.They aren't pretty but they are so warm...

I did some work for Ariat boots awhile ago, and was a big fan of them, but like most big companies now ,they have moved manufacturing to China, and the quality is inferior.Boulet boots is what I wear now, and can take the shit kicking I will put them thru, made in Canada , and fairly priced.Make sure Kam wears a heeled boot while riding BTW.

Boot shopping and no clothes. Ok. You have to where what we bring home and nothing else.
