I'm intirigued by men who enjoy wearing women's clothing, and recently posted a question in the general discussions forum about it... I really am interested in knowing what is the attraction, feelings, behaviour changes men really feel when cross dressing, it's just something that I want to grasp some understanding on, so....if you all would care to, please discuss, and elaborate on this more...tell me things like....does it bring out a submissiveness in you? Is it just the whole act of wearing womens clothes that excites you, or is it the way sheer lacey, silky things feel or look on your skin? How often do you and your wife/GF indulge in this, and what, if possible to pinpoint, excites her so much about it?
I would like to see the fetish forum really liven up, with more indepth and ongoing discussions. So many times, someone will post a unique and/or popular topic, but only with a few sentences, and the replies can be pretty brief too.
I'd like to see the topics posted really "open up", understanding someone elses sexual quirks, preferences, etc...I think is very important for learning tolerance to individual differences, and also for understanding ourselves.....as Oscar Wilde said..."Nothing human is alien to me"

never thought much of it other than me wearing some of my brothers' harley shirts that i'd sneak out of his room.. course he laid down the rules that if i wore it and ruined it, i was to buy the exact thing or close to it and keep the one that got ruined. But back to the subject.. I have nothing against it as I have never seen a guy (other than what you see in the movies) wear anything of girls clothing (other than ki-yi week in high school and/or for halloween)in a sexual way..
although, off of another site, i did run across someone's profile(who I work with, and has no idea that I know this lil secret) is into that and didn't really change the way I thought of him).. so if you like it, more power to ya!

I have a question about crossdressing, but first let me fill you all in on why I ask it. Since the age of 12, after I had been seeing the traits the man who had adopted me had, I began feeling that I was a woman in a man's body. Then, at age 16, my sister saved me from him, and the feelings got stronger. I began then to want to be a female so as not to be like him. Now I wonder if it was just wanting to be all along that made me feel I was or the other way around. I also ponder if either way still makes me a transsexual. My question is, even if I choose to crossdress every now and then without having surgery to become a female, does that make me a transsexual still or no?

Do you have a strong specific sexual preference...are you sexually/romantically attracted to males, females or both?
A bisexual can be sexually attracted to either sex, but breaking it down to romantic attraction, what sex do you see yourself being happy with, growing old with?

I don't know what traits your adopted father had that you're speaking of, and adding in that you see your sister as possibly a "hero" that saved you from him...it may just be that you associate females as positive, and males as a negative, all of this plus you may have an alternative sexual preference that maybe you developed or were even born with.
I think if you have some confusion, a therapist who specializes in gender association would be a tremendous help to you for sorting through all of this and allowing you to discover who you really are. You're 31, it's time for you to love yourself and love your life without all the confusion and doubts. I'm sure you deserve a good life.
There are perfect normal hetero men who do cross dress. There's also a social double standard, women have been dressing "mannish" forever, and most think it's kinda hot, but a man dressing femininely, we're not so quick to accept.

I can be romantic with either, but I do find myself hooking up more with women than men, and the relationship never seems to work out for some odd reason. The same goes when I get with other men wanting to be the female.

When I am feminized, my persona also changes. However, it's the other way around with me. I tend to be very submissive and quite a push over as a man, but dressed up as a female, my dominant side comes out and I gain more of a back bone.

I did wear panties because I lost a bet or was dared to do it. First couple times was losing a bet from my sister, where I had to wear her panties in front of her and her friend. I was still young then, was dared by a GF later to wear hers for a day, I figured what the hell, it was under my clothes and only she would know. Once I arrived the trenchcoat came off. She was in awe. I was so surprised I totally expected her to laugh at me looking so silly which at the time I was pretty nervous and embarassed. A couple others had laughed, so that was what I expected, but she didn't laugh, she really liked it alot, had me parade around so she could enjoy me from all angles. In time my feelings of nervousness went away as did the embarassment, only to be replaced by arousal. As being friends nothing sexual occured. But I by the end of the evening with all of her compliments and the arousal I was feeling pretty sexy and probably would have done a number of things if they had come up or been asked to do.
