What Brand of Jeans do you prefer...
I read somewhere that women want men to where tight jeans, at least the single ones. Once she already has you she doesn't want other girls looking, but which brand do women prefer. I used to wear Wranglers but they only come in, "Relaxed Fit" which is pretty baggy for most guys. I used to like Lee's, but up in this area, they went away with the 80's. So who's brand of Jeans do women prefer guys to wear?...

Re: What Brand of Jeans do you prefer...
It doesn't matter what brand as long as they fit and aren't hanging off you like you are a little boy wearing your fathers clothes. It also doesn't matter if I'm single or in a relationship. I think most women will agree that a guy in a nice pair or well fitting jeans is always a turn on. I will admit that a well worn pair that seems to mold to a guys ass as if he has owned them for years is just a bit hotter than a new pair.

Re: What Brand of Jeans do you prefer...
I don't date a man for the brand of jeans he wears. Growing up they were Levi's or Wranglers, or whatever I guess? !!
Then came designer jeans. My family didn't have money for me to have "designer" jeans. Many of the younger girls, my brother's age had these jeans. He thought they were all snobby and preferred the way I dressed, althought I thought I dressed like a lumberjack. I'm glad I had his approval.
I've noticed lately, men's jeans are very loose, and almost baggy. I don't really like them. It kinds of makes me think of when someone gets married and they don't have to try any longer.
I wouldn't want them so very tight either, like they use to wear them in the 80's. It is amazing you all during this time were able to reproduce.
Somewhere inbetween which look neat, and I can still see a little bit of the package.

Re: What Brand of Jeans do you prefer...
The article I read, referred to a whimsical reason men's jeans are baggy. According to surveys of married women and single gals, it's thought that a pair of form fitting jeans is the one visual effect that initially attracts a single woman to the guy. It tries to explain, that with women it's all about the fantasy and the whole picture in regards to men, but there must be one or two features women see that enhance that mind blowing visual. Since guys have always dressed as they have always done, and women have dressed to attract, women now want guys to become the eye-candy they've had to endure all these years.
It also explained, that women more than men are possessive in a relationship. Most married women buy their husband's clothes for them. The article suggests that these women are buying loose fitting jeans in the thought that, "I know his butt looks great in a pair of jeans, but I don't want another girl to know that!" The trends of the visual male have been spreading to the main stream singles . A guy sees another guy in baggy jeans and a hot babe under his arm and thinks, "It's nothing about how he looks." They dress in a less attractive fashion thinking that way, hence the jeans companies making jeans in more and more, "Relaxed Fit" everyday. The women in the article want that trend to be scrapped and the whole notion taken back to the drawing board.
The reason I even asked, was they didn't get into maker's who make form-fitting jeans in the first place. Guys can attest to this, most places that sell men's fashions don't have dressing rooms. The average male buys only what is in his size and doesn't need to try them on first. They are also brand loyal, buying one brand only, rarely veering from that brand to purchase another, while women will buy several by how they fit and look in their particular size. I'm curious to know of guys and gals, "What brand to they find most that fits the bill I'm looking for?..."

Re: What Brand of Jeans do you prefer...
Gotta be careful when you get into fancy jeans, they get into the 2-300 dollar range easy and some high end stuff gets more rediculous.seen a few pairs of custom fitting jeans listed for nearly 400 bucks, all I can say is yikes.I think it would be cheaper to have a tailor fit and alter your own set cheaper.

I've never bought any one item costing $200 and never will. That is crazy and stupid. I can go all year on that much. There are women out there I guess who have to run out and buy the newest handbag, shoe or outfit for every season, I am not one of those women.
When I left my ex-husband and displaced for a while, I had maybe five or ten things to put one. It took up 1/4 or a closet, (of course my clothes are minimal) and I did just fine.

My Nieces think they need those expensive jeans with wornout knees and holes allover,,, if they were relying on me to buy it ,it would be standard 25 dollar jeans that fit proper without holes and wornout parts

The other issue I thought of were sunglasses. I have light eyes, and I have to wear sunglasses all the time or I can't see. I end up squinting and my eyes water.
My girlfriend bought a $250 dollar pair of sunglasses. I didn't know they were $250 until she mentioned it after they got lost in the ocean.
Who needs a $250 pair of sunglasses? Then I've seen kids talking of sunglasses $250, $400 $500. When Googling I found Smoakin Sunglasses Uv..$962.50 - USimprints, and
Chopard's world's most expensive sunglasses cost $4,084,967.

This is my life as well Kiss, every since I was a little boy I walked around squinting, eyes would water if I opened them fully in bright or sunny weather. The glasses you see on my face?I wear them always in daylight hours they are Prescription Polarized RayBan's.between $300-400.
I have always had light sensitive eyes,I spend more Annually on glasses then most do On clothes.Without an optical plan it gets real in a hurry..BUT?I will never buy another set that are not Polarized.
My Next Optical adventure will be,Prescription Polarized form fitting goggle glasses with an elastic strap option to keep airborne allergens from entering my eyes.Something I can use on my Harley or in the water would be nice.Yea they will likely be 500-600 USD.but I feel they are necessary,it does change the Importance of not loosing or wrecking your sunglasses tho.

We overpay for our glasses in the country just like we do for prescription medication. I found a great web site to get prescription glasses MUCH cheaper. I will find it and email it to you Onehornee. The other option is to do what many others do. Take a trip over the boarder and get them there. My mother goes to Mexico and bought 4 pairs of designer glasses for less than she paid for one pair of glasses here.I don't know what the deals would be like if you drove to Canada Onehornee but it might be worth checking into. The same exact glasses that I ordered from the online place I used cost me $38. When I got the same glasses through my insurance at the eyeglass place they were almost $300.

Re: What Brand of Jeans do you prefer...
(Picked this up on a search.)
Why aren't men's jeans straightforward? They should be. They're practical, hard-wearing, comfortable--and yet they're a minefield of style accidents waiting to happen. Too short, too wide, too tight in one place, too baggy in another... look down any street and you'll see otherwise innocent men committing serious crimes against denim. A friend once went on a date with a man who turned up in baggy jeans so violently tapered that they shortened him by six inches, and with the waist hoisted so high that from behind he looked like an overweight mother at school sports day. Call her fickle, but she walked out.
From where women are standing, jeans define a man more than his watch, car, mobile or any other expensive gadget the male psyche uses to express its virility. Almost everyone wears them, and yet stitched into their warp and weft are a host of hidden indicators, exact barometers--to a beady female eye--of his taste and self-image.
Some men wear jeans with an almost indecent ease. From the Ramones via the blokes in Blondie to any of Kate Moss's more recent boyfriends, punk and post-punk musicians have been adept at combining anti-bourgeois attitude, unkempt hair and skinny-fit denims. James Dean always gave good jean: dark, uncomplicated, flattering without being narcissistic, and set off by his crisp white t-shirt. And older Italians and Frenchmen choose jeans with clean lines and a slightly tight fit, worn with grown-up leather shoes and continentally well-cut jackets. But English men seldom manage this casual distinction, choosing looser jeans in an attempt to be laid-back, then counter-attacking their own strategy by adding a badly fitting jacket, or a shirt that's either too preppy, too tight or--most unfortunate of all--short-sleeved.
It doesn't have to be this way. Some tailors will make jeans to measure. (Why shouldn't a man take the cut of his denim as seriously as his suit? He'd make a lot of women happier if he did.) And if, as is likely, you carry on buying off the peg, the sheer number of brands might seem bewildering--but it does mean that somewhere there's a style that will suit you.
