Re: nnew mars rover
I keep thinking about the fact that they say we will be traveling in space in the near future. They say maybe to other planets or at least to our moon at some point.
Then I think about the airlines. They stick us in these tiny seats ,some don't even recline anymore. They lose our luggage and the times they don't lose it they destroy it. The prices have skyrocketed and the service is horrible. They lose planes on a regular basis as well. Not to mention the schedules are a joke. They are never on time. They have people connecting 3 , 4 and 5 times just to go across our country. I can't even get into what we go through with the TSA not to mention customs these days. Then there is the issue with how long each flight crew can be in the air before they have to ground them and put a new crew on-board.They ground planes for weather issues all the time as well. We can't even fly through some areas due to volcanic ash. We have to worry about birds as well. They shut down airports for all kinds of things. Then there is the restrictions on what can be on a plane. We can't even use a kindle during take off or landing because they say you might fuck up the planes equipment. (They are testing this as we speak for all the new gadgets). You can not just take oxygen or scuba tanks on a plane either. There are all kinds of issues with pressurized tanks on a plane.
Do you really think they can handle flying us to the moon or another planet? I know I wont be signing up for that anytime in my lifetime.
