There are just some days I think I have the best life. I'm not rich monetarily, but I am rich in many other ways. I'm almost afraid that it can't last.My kids are all in a good place, I have a great man in my life, my friends are the best friends anyone can ever wish for and my family is really close and supportive, although they are family so admittedly they can still drive me insane. And just to top it off even Kam's family is amazing.

For me, today is, "Murphy's Law" day. Started early this morning and it's not over yet. Had to get up for a meeting with unemployment that was mandatory. Set my phone, which doubles as my alarm clock, for 7am. At 6 it went off repeatedly. Found out that it all of a sudden needed to inform me that I have never updated the 50 or so apps ever in the whole time I've had it, and it was going to do that for me. Needless to say, I was up an hour early. After my second cup of coffee, I headed for the shower to get ready. Just as I grabbed the door knob to my bedroom, I heard the familiar sound of the bathroom door closing and the slide lock being drawn into place. My father was in there and no idea when he would be out. I waited for 35 minute before I took a cat bath in the kitchen sink downstairs. Having laid out my clothes from the night before, I found that the shorts I chose, were too small in the waist for me to wear. Changed my outfit entirely so I wouldn't look color blind, but failed to notice the tear in the back of the shirt. My father noticed that little tid-bit as I was leaving. Changed the shirt again and out the door. Paperwork, umbrella, and cellphone, I headed out to the truck, which refused to start. Ended up taking my mother's car. Got stuck behind a little old lady going 25 in a 45 almost all the way there. Just as I pulled up, it began to rain, poured actually, to which I realized that the umbrella was in the truck back home next to the cellphone. I got soaked, along with the paperwork, which color ran to almost become incoherent to read from the water-logged paper it was attached to. The meeting was to last one hour, which spilled into two, after one guy kept asking questions that were both incoherent and off the wall knutz. Another guy kept falling asleep the whole time and snoring, which caused the moderator to stop and wait for me to nudge him. She kept repeating herself in case he missed the parts he fell asleep on. Meanwhile, the air-conditioned room we were in made me get the shivers, as I dried out from my water soaked clothes during the whole two hour meeting. On the way home, I pulled up to a store to buy some lunch, only to find that I hadn't forgot to bring my wallet with me, just the debit card was sitting on the table at home. I had two dollars left in my wallet, so lunch was out of the question. Think I'll go back to bed before something really bad happens to me...

Went to the, "Salvation Army" Mega store today. A giant warehouse that smelled of musty, cardboard boxed, clothes. Didn't find much in my size, but someone could buy jeans there for about 5 dollars. I found a book that could have saved me the trouble of going to college, an xbox video game, and a pair of neat-looking salt & pepper shakers for $4.39. I wouldn't go there regularly, but I wouldn't mind going back there sometime when I'm in the area...

Why do my cats sleep most of the time I am awake but as soon as I start to fall asleep they decide that is the time to get into a Tom and Jerry type chase that at some point seems to include my body as part of their track? Why do I love them? Oh yeah, they they are cute most of the time.
