Every time I see Free's profile picture of the Cheetos it reminds me of my childhood. We had those dishes when I was a kid. Jeez Free they are over 40 years old. Corell doesn't even make that pattern anymore. I think its in their museum. Can't you break down and get some new dishes? Or maybe we can take up a collection for you. I wish I could remember the name of the pattern. But that color...Harvest gold isn't even a color that is recognized anymore I think they did away with it in the 70's..Besides back then I don't think they worried about lead as much as now you might want to get new dishes for your own safety.At least I have good memories when I see that plate....

Yep, they're Correlle Ware. When I got divorced, I asked if any one had anything that I could use because I refused to spend any money on myself, I wanted anything I had, to go to the kids. As snobby as I am, I would have eaten off of paper plates instead. But in return, My Mother gave me what I had bought for her years earlier.

I know you think 20% humidity is bad but I live at the Jersey shore and it is easily 85% humidity so it doesn't bother me even if I'm there during your Monsoon season.

My son just walked in my room and and said "I don't know how you deal with your own kind." He left his girlfriend in his bed thinking she was asleep. He couldn't sleep so he went to another room to start packing up some stuff. He is moving in with her in a few weeks.When he went back she was gone. She thought he left her along because she had done something to annoy him. He called her and explained he just couldn't sleep and didn't want to disturb her. They talked and everything is fine but he just doesn't get what even made her make the jump in her brain to thinking that she had done something to annoy him.My only statement to that was "She's female!"
