There's nothing wrong with being afraid, especially if its going to be your first time. So much pressure gets put on performance that even someone that's had sex a lot can get apprehensive of the act.
My best suggestion would be to build up to it. There's no need for every intimate contact to lead to sex, and the delay in going that far can make the experience all the more meaningful. After enough times of building up to the act, you'll find it to be very natural and much easier tolast longer than normal.
Also, make sure to wear a condom. While putting it on might feel weird and clumsy, its benefits far outweigh the awkwardness. Not only does it prevent stds and pregnancy, but it will help you last longer and make cleanup easier.
One final piece of advice, never feel pressured to do anything in life. It doesn't matter what it is, just don't do it unless it feels right.

At twenty five he's probably done all the building up he's capable of.....but ya your right always practice safe sex , and she may be as nervous as you are. Sex is natural , and we all want it, just relax, your first time may be kinda awkward, so try and be with a woman who will understand.......usually a little older than yourself , with some experience, and a understanding of your situation. There is nothing to be ashamed of, and try to see thru your excitment and tend to her needs as well, although that may be a little tough the first time for you. Trust me , show her a little respect, and tell her the truth, most women would be very flattered .And be safe, and don't forget the condom, you may think it will spoil the mood a bit......but so does a screaming kid with a loaded diaper.

The guys have given you great advice first and foremost protect your health and your partners.
Never do anything because someone tells you to do it. Do it only when and if you are ready. And if at all possible have your first time be with someone who cares about you and is understanding of the situation. I have said many times that I feel so lucky to have great firsts with men that cared about me and I never felt pressure. I know you have been told to worry about her needs as well as your own. However I feel the one time you get a free pass is your first time. If its someone that understands this is your first I hope she makes you feel special and makes it all about you.
Good luck and try to relax. It is pleasurable but because its new to you it will be scary. Once you have had sex you will wonder what you were so scared about after its all over.It can be overwhelming.

take it from a fellow virgin. just start slow with some kissing and simple touching. and do what feels natural to both of you.
edit: as long as both of you know what to expect it shouldn't be scary just nervous maybe 2-3 times and then normal.
