A little trivia
Just sharing some things with Chazzy, and listening to some talk radio as my day is winding down, and was reminded again of a certain person. This guy, years ago, joined the army. His mother, was such a horrible cook, that when he started eating nutritional army food, he stopped getting indigestion, and went to the army doctor, cause he thought something was wrong. He was also wanted as a replacement for, I think it was for Curly Joe, after Joe died, or was in bad health, of the 3 Stooges, but had other cotractional obligations. He would have fit right in. Buddy Hackett. Some of this crap is interesting. Like, real birth names such as ine if the Gumm sisters, Frances Ethel Gumm. Lorna Luft, and Liza Minellies (sp), momma, Judy Garland. I think the ole perve, busy as he is, still has too much time his hands, lol.

This is a classic salami-slice invasion scenario that was often modelled in Europe before the Berlin wall came down. Fire out of control and they offer to send in their fire-fighters, then their police to control the looting, then the army to assist and then...

Re: A little trivia
Under the first post, I found it interesting and surprising years back when I discovered who is Shirley MacClaine's sibling.
Shirley MacLaine was born Shirley MacLean Beaty to Virginia native Ira Owens Beaty, an American, and Kathlyn Corinne MacLean, from Nova Scotia, Canada. Her brother, Warren Beatty.
I don't see much of a resemblance in the two, and when I told a friend they are brother - sister, she said, "No". But than again, she is good about not knowing then telling you you are wrong.

Re: A little trivia
I know there are more celeb brother, sister, parent and child, deals out there. Probably the most commonly known were brothers James Arness, born Auness, and Peter Graves.

HHhhmmm, an invasion? Could be a good thing! A Canadian invasion would be well mannered , and polite, we all look like you anyways. We can be identified in early spring by our pale complexion, our way of ending a question saying "eh?", and we will always ask permission to "invade". If you are seeking a safe haven from us, you may want to occupy Seattle, we won't bother with them..... they are already to much like Canadians. also I believe Arizona may not be invaded as well , way to hot, our beer may get warm.Florida is definatley on the agenda, our troops will need sustenance by then, and I hear that there are lots of lonley women there , and we will need help keeping warm at night. So be on the lookout for any young man wandering the streets appearing lost, wearing a plaid red shirt, or anybody with a chainsaw companies logo on his jacket......it may be one of us.

Re: A little trivia
Back on topic......it is said that English is the most complex language, but infact it's not . The most complex language on the planet is Inuit, spoken by the arctic natives, or what you Americans call Eskimo. The Inuit have over 600 words to describe the formations of ice, 400 words to describe the formations of drifting snow. Yet before contact by Europeans , they had no word for jealousy, and no word for greed...these emotions didn't exist in their culture , till 100 years ago. The Inuit that I know personally can't live to far below the Canadian shield as their bodies produce massive amounts of natural heat, and their inner body clock is different from any other race on the planet ,probably, it is believed due to 24 hour light in the summer, and 24 hour dark in the winter. They can get by on 1 meal a day, and children are born almost always, just before spring. It is estimated there may be less than 60,000 full blooded Inuit in the arctic circle, yet their Canadian province touches three of the worlds oceans.
