wish me luck
im going in to have my eyes done and im not looking forward to it, will be staying in a hotel a few days after as i cant drive.. but i shure would like to hit the pool and hottub too... but i dont know

I don't know what "done" means exactly? My Mom underwent laser eye surgery, an her vision is much improved. My friend had an eye lid lift for medical reasons. Other than being a little tight and numb at first, he is doing great.

Friend had laser eye surgery. Said it was fine apart from the smell of burning eyeballs.
APART FROM THE SMELL OF BURNING EYEBALLS!!!
No one should ever have to smell their own eyeballs burning

had the other work on my shoulder 2 weeks ago , the smell of burning skin and hair wasn't too great either... like the smell or roasting hotdog and burning hair

Its a common procedure these days. Not much down time. I heard the worst part is the ugly sun glasses they give you to wear home. You have all seen them if you live in an area with a high senior population. Stay positive.

Oh I LOVE those glasses!!!!! Ive got a different colored pair for each day of the week!

wow i made it out alive and escaped,as for the operation , it was wild, what a trip all the colors and lines and stuff, but wow what a improvement. guess i cant say too much for being taped down to the table, the goop they put in my eye,the worst part was the wait for two hours hooked up to a iv bag. kinda have memory issues and for pain well ouch a few times.....as i wasnt looking forword to it but i'll say do it and hum a toon to your self

I'm so glad it worked out so well for you. I have been told its like taking a veil from in front of your eyes after the surgery. That's when people really realize how bad it was before. I do think the waiting in general seems the worst part of many things. We tend to work things up in our head to be so much worse than they are so we get stressed out.Maybe you can play up the recovery a bit and get a little extra special treatment thou.lol

thanks everyone, now s the healing up part all the eye drops in my eyes the next 12 days,as for the ouch part well it not that bad , but ya it hurt a little...but the worst part was i was my own Coward, and that's the thing, your mind plays on your fear, as ya don't know what to expect
