Flag Day
What Is the Meaning of Flag Day in the United States?
Flag Day is a holiday in the United States which celebrates the American flag. The holiday is celebrated around the country with parades and memorial services for those who have died in defense of the United States. Like Memorial Day, Flag Day is considered a patriotic holiday, and is particularly celebrated by the Armed Forces and those veterans who have served abroad. Flag Day is celebrated on June 14 each year.
A day to be proud, even for all our struggles, she is beautiful, and still stands for ...FREEDOM!

As hard as this may be to believe, I wasnt being sarcastic. I was really saying thank you to Betsy Ross. However I'm sure you could play her on television. (Ok, THAT was sarcastic!)

-the current USA Flag was designed by 17 yr. old Robert G. "Bob" Heft , as a class project. his original grade was a "B", but his teacher agreed to reconsider if his design was accepted by Congress.
