What in the world were they thinking?!
What is the sickest or dumbest thing you ever saw or heard of? The other day, I saw a news broadcast about an artist who stretched his dead cat's body over a frame and turned it into a helicopter?! I can only ask you to google it, "dead cat helicopter" and see for yourself. For those of you that are pet parents I warn you now, it's not for the faint hearted. I'm not, but it was weird even for me. What in the heck does he plan to do with it, give it to someone as a gift?...

Re: What in the world were they thinking?!
I have an image etched in my mind from an email a co-worker sent while on the job. I don't know if what the email said was true, but I can't even repeat what I read. This was in say 1999, or 2000, and just YUCK!!

Got one of those emails recently. I was thankful for the "heads up" in the subject line, it involves a Japanese chef...never even read the email let alone clicked on the link.

When it comes to "art", there was a couple deals by a certain "artist", that, as Chazzy, I wont even metion. The point is, he was NOT thinking. Sick, just does not cover it, pure evil is an undrestatement.

Yeah, I mean really....it's bad enough these photos and videos have any audience, but who the hell thinks anyone else needs to have them forwarded to their email?

Ditto Chazzy. Was 2 paticular pieces of shit, I dont think I saw them. If I did, it was by accident. I would not even entertain the idea of viewing them.

Re: What in the world were they thinking?!
What some people label as "art" can be distastful at best, and make it even harder for true artists to get ahead in the art world, or to be taken seriously. I know people who have struggled hard to get ahead most of their prof. lives as a member of the fine arts, only to have their paintings or sculpture installed in a exhibition in a fine art gallery next to something incredibly distastful,to create a buzz in the art community.Having said that those so called"artists " usually never have a long life, and thankfuly fade away....some blame has to go towards the media, curators and audience....and not just a wanna be artist wanting to get noticed in a sometimes very superficial world

Re: What in the world were they thinking?!
I just received an email from a cousin, "When going to a knife fight, bring a pistol". I scrolled down slightly and I saw the back of a man that was severly gashed numerous times. I think it may have been a police officer, but it was just to grotesque for me to look at further. I deleted the email. How inconsiderate!!

Re: What in the world were they thinking?!
Two things come to mind and to be honest I wish I could wipe them both from my memory.
The first was a web site I was on that was similar in nature to this except it had audio and video as well. The thing is that people can also run videos. At times you can jump in a room or click on a person expecting to see something more or less common. Example: someone stroking on cam, or doing a dare on cam or whatever the theme of the room might be.One time I saw about 2 or 3 seconds of a video and I thought my eyes were deceiving me. First, because it was an extremely ILLEGAL act but even more because it was the most disgusting thing I ever saw. I wanted to wash my eyes and couldn't shut it off fast enough. I will only say it involved a VERY LARGE animal and a women doing something to it that I would not have even thought possible.
The other thing that was just gross beyond imagination is something I saw on that site that lets you post almost anything. You all know the site. Apparently there seems to be a huge population of people who try to put the grosses things on there. My kids were kind of having a funny argument about who could find the most messed up video. My son found one of a guy who had the largest black head I think known to the human race. I could not watch it. It was disgusting. There was commentary as they broke this thing. I could not believe this was posted but from what I understand there are hundreds very similar. My question is WHY?
And I hope I never think of these again.YUK!

Unfortunately There are a large amount of people that are drawn to horrific things,Myself Ive seen more then I would have chosen in my life,If i never had to see or experience anymore Would be ok with it,I tend to be defensive of Animals and Most People(I admid some are a dificult call), Life has a way of hardening some of us.yet others seem to be unable to get enough of the gruesome that life has to offer.I have friends and relatives that thrive on the gruesome horrific things,I never have understood it,and it makes my heart sad for them.
