Does anyone on this site ever use the chat room? When I go there I am the only one there.

The best way to use the chatroom, is to go there and wait while you cruise the rest of the site, checking back in on the chatroom often. If you are a non-VIP member, use the "who's online" list on the right side of the page, click on profiles of those you are interested in and you'll show up on their "who viewed me" list, letting them know that you are checking them out. Send naughty notes. Hopefully they'll see your efforts,like you and possible go look for you in the chatroom. Especially if you add something about " live chat " or "meet me in the chatroom" to your profile/ad title. ( show some patience, someone you have viewed or sent a note to, may have their attention temporarily diverted, and they may not realize that you have viewed them or they may not realize right away that they have a new message.
For those that do have the VIP membership, send a PM to everyone online that you are interested in chatting with, it may be best to let them know whether you are willing to "talk about anything they want to talk about" or you are just interested in some chatroom cybersex . (I do suggest the "anything they want to talk about" approach) some are not comfortable with cybersex in a public chatroom with someone they know absolutely nothing about, but will use the chatroom to get to know you a little better, and break the ice first.(There are others that don't have that kind of hang up about it at all)
It's just common sense, common courtesy, and a little patience.

Yeah, the corner gas station went out of business about 15 years ago.
