Sad Days
Have you ever just woken up and felt sad and deflated and just "meh" for the day.
Nothing has happened, nothing has gone wrong I just feel like not being part of the human race today. Taking the day off from life
Think it's time for one of trips off alone for a few days lol

Re: Sad Days
When my mum used to have those days she would say "Stop the world, I want to get off"

Re: Sad Days
Well, I'm not alone. Raining so far this morning, big dog decides to run outside in the rain, and then jump on me. A friend just came over with some chew toys, so they are busy at the moment.
But, the race can suck! Hope you get your mojo back!

Hmmmm, reminds me of the Fleetwood Mac classic "Oh Well"
I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to
Oh well
Now, when I talked to God I knew he'd understand
He said, "Stick by me and I'll be your guiding hand
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to"
Oh well

Re: Sad Days
Yup, that happens for sure. Be glad it's a temporary thing.
I was at work one day, and nothing was going right.. i heard a voice that said-- " cheer up, things could be worse" Sure enough, I cheered up and things got worse.

Re: Sad Days
Josie I completely get it. When there is a reason you can rationalize it. When there is no reason you start to wonder what is wrong with you. Funny thing is there are days I can be mad for no reason or sad or whatever emotion you can think of. But what I find strange are the days I want to feel that way and embrace it. It strange to say I can be happy about being sad but some days I feel I need it. Haven't you just ever just WANTED to cry like crazy for no particular reason?.
I have had days I've said to my kids I'm mad but not at you or anyone. I just want to be mad so let me get past it.
There is something else that some people will get and others will not understand at all. I have had many things go totally wrong in my life. I would say most people have had the same. I have had many people say "I don't know how you stay so positive. I would be depressed or mad." I try to find the positive out of a bad thing. Example: I have been forced to go on disability due to my accident years ago. I can think about all the negative things from that but instead I think about how I got to spend much more time with my children and I got to experience much more of their day to day lives while they were very young.
However, I allow a day or two every once in a while to feel completely sorry for myself and totally selfish. I think its important to be able to kick yourself back into the good day to day mood or you will be depressed.

Re: Sad Days
Hey guys...
Thanks for the comments, I am starting to pick up again.
A while ago I realised that there are just some times that I need to just take off for a few days and do exactly what I want at anytime I want. So have booked myself a weekend away next weekend for 3 days and am feeling much more positive
Love to all and normal happiness will resume soon xxx
