Allow me to rant....
Incest...few other things could ever strike me as disgusting as incest.
People seem to think that everyone can draw a definite and moral line between victimizing children and screwing a hot cousin or aunt, we know that isn't true.
I adamantly condem incest in any way shape or form.
Every child born, deserves the most basic sense of values and morals, if not in this world, then most certaintly in their own homes, with their own families. Noone should have to spend a childhood trying to grow up in a home where relatives will decide that one day, in their own sick opinion, this child is old enough to become a sexual partner for them.
Every child is born totally dependant and helpless, and every child deserves the security and the saftey of a home filled with family that will put that child's health and well being above all else and everything else.
Incest is wrong, whether it's a cousin, adoptive family member that shares no biological link , or family members related only by a marital link. Family is FAMILY no matter what, and family should always be that safe, trusting haven, that in a scary world, a child can always feel secure and unconditionally loved.

Of all the topics I've seen and all the bullshit I've said in them, this is the one you will never see my opinion waiver.... and it covers all abuse period (this sliver being at the top of the list).
You abuse a child (espescially), girlfriend, wife, husband, anyone, even your pet dog and you lose the status of human being in my eyes and deserve the worst accomodations hell can conger and that is a far cry better than I wish upon you.

ok, don't kill me here. I am being picky on the words chosen. While I totally absolutely positively 100% agree with chazzy and bcb on their rants regarding children and abuse of any kind to any person young or old, Um... incest doesnt have to be abuse, or involve children you know. incest is simply sex with a family member. And that definition even changes between cultures. Whether it be 2 consenting 30yr old cousins that have the hots for each other or whoever, it has nothing to do with abuse. Sexual abuse is sexual abuse whether child or adult, family or friend or stranger it is wrong wrong wrong.
webster: sexual relations between persons who, because of the nature of their kin relationships, are prohibited by law or custom from intermarrying.
Brittanica: Because, cross-culturally, incest is more an emotional than a legal issue.....
I just wanted to set the record straight on this one given its nature.
And no I've had nothing to do with incest... but I do have a hot cousin who.... nevermind.

It doesn't matter, who starts drawing a line?If incest between adult cousins is accepted in a family, then where's the line and who draws it that says it's not acceptable for an older relative and 18 yr family member? And if he/she is younger than the age of consent or legal adulthood, at what age is it alright to just make out and fondle but not have intercourse?
I'll repeat what I stated before, it doesn't matter! It doesn't matter if there is a biological link, whether the relation link is by marraige or adoption with no blood link at all, every child has the right to have a safe secure home, where they will never, at any age in their life, be looked at or treated in a sexual way by the family that should be devoted to providing a haven where they never have to face abuse, or exploitation.
There are billions and billions of people on this planet, fuck someone who isn't related or a part of your family.
