I Dont Care Where You Live
In the US, its Memorial Day. A day to remember all of the fallen, wounded, scarred and thankfully, the living that give us the freedom that we have. If you live in a country like Canada or the UK, it may not be that day for you. And in the US, too many think its a 3 day weekend to spend time grilling and drinking beer.
To my way of thinking, its a day to honor the brave men and women who have served their Country. I dont care what Country it is. They should be honoured for their service. To all of the Free World, EVERY DAY should be Memorial Day!

I do so agree with you, NRG. It's sad what this holiday has turned into.
Not only do I (we) want to honor the troops, past present and furture, but also feel that strong respect for the mothers, fathers, siblings, faithful spouses of the deployed, the children who spend their holidays, birthdays and other important benchmarks of their lives without their fathers and mothers. So much is sacrificed by so many.

exactly Chazzy, its tough being on the home front too, so many wives & kids spend holidays without their dad

Okay, on a popular social network site there were photo's of rally, with a large group of bikers/vets. In one photo was a depiction of prisoner sitting inside very small bamboo cage. A young man remarked, "What is he doing in the cage?"........
Are you fucking kidding me? And, he had no understanding of the POW/MIA Flag! But, he has the FREEDOM to go play war shoot'em up video games.... Yeah!
