Holiday Weekend

This will be the first year in ages we will not be making the trip to the hills to the family cemetary, will miss it.
All the elders that we are blessed to still have with us tell all the family history and stories, paying respect to those buried there, inclucing the unmarked graves of our civil war soldiers.
It's beautiful country, the cemetary is in southern Missouri, high on a hill in gorgeous farmland. Being with all the family like that, is where I aquired my pride in my hillbilly heritage.

Jersey Shore madness starts, so staying close to home.Maybe I'll go to my sons bar and listen to some music and play a few games. I try to avoid driving anywhere due to it becoming a huge parking lot down here this time of year.

Hope all have a safe and fun weekend. Saturday, things die down here a lot. Will just be checking in from time to time. I am beginning to get fed up with retirement, never a day off. Crappola. See you all in the flip side.

Hey Sy it starts when you quit driving the hurd,sorry man I think you work yourself to hard,not saying thats bad but can be sad sometimes From personla experience..our holiday is on Monday really but us Americans Thrive on holidays so we take the whole weekend.lol,I have it all messed up im having to work monday night  till friday night
