I think I am getting old? When I walk into a small store and see cashier in a conversation with friend's and the girl gets her boob tweaked. Too much.
I didn't initiate much conversation on this topic, however, early I viewed a clip of the actor, Will Smith walking down the carpet in Russia, when a male reporter went to hug him, then it appeared to be a air kiss and he is like, "Alright......" Then, "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU, MAN!", and a back hand to his face.
What I saw was a very aggressive reporter who literally had Will from around the neck, and was smothering him, almost to the point had Will not stopped him he would have gotten the tongue.

OMG, I saw PDA and thought you were asking how much is to much to pay for an electronic PDA.lol
OK PDA:Public Display of Affection.
It depends on the situation as to how much is too much. If your making out in church.It's to much! If your walking on the beach and holding hands and stop to make out a bit. I think it's fine. I think it comes down to who the audience is and the circumstances around you. If it's something that would make most people uncomfortable them tone it done until its a more private or appropriate place and time. Then again sometimes it can be fun.
When I first started going to Kam's house we were sitting on the couch watching TV. His daughter (20 or 21 years old at the time)was sitting on the other couch watching as well. Kam kissed me .She looks at us and says "Really dad? If I was sitting here making out with my boyfriend in front of you , you would go nuts!" To which Kam turned and said "It's my place! Besides that wasn't making out but I can show you what is so you know the difference." I laughed she just huffed in annoyance at his supposed hypocrisy. lol
I do think it is inappropriate to "Make out" in front of your kids, especially if they are young, or other family members. It just makes people uncomfortable to see you in a sexual situation when they are people that would rather not think of you as sexual at all.Also keep in mind going to far can get you arrested in some cases. Although that is the part that some people find fun.

We went to the restaurant to eat a few times. The second time we went in the hostess looked at us and smiled and said "I'll find you two a more private booth".lol
For the record NO IT IS NOT APPROPRIATE IN FRONT OF YOUR PARENTS! I don't care how funny you find it to make me squirm and turn red when we are with them.

I gotta admit, I know what PDA'a are but when I saw the "how much is too much?" I also thought it was a question about a Palm Pilot or some thing. I dont even think the make those things any more
