Chazzy!! requesting leave..the devil has been fed
Last time I left without saying anything, I found people got worried about me....so here is some info. Some of you know I have a forest fire near me,it was 25 klms. away yesterday,but the winds have increased to 45 klms. an hour in a n.e. direction jumping two mountain tops...towards me,I'm in a valley that it will travel into, and pick up speed.I have employees out in the mountains right now forestry is helo'ing them out in the morning.I'm not sure when I will be back,all that has to happen is for the wind to change or rain to come,and i will be fine,but at this point I am requesting leave......and have a good thought for me, my animals left in the mountains,and the women and men I will be working with on this fire...i'll check in from time to time ,if I can..you guys are the best...Sy

Its scary how many people and animals these things effect. Be careful. Hope all goes well.
Why is it I feel like we are saying this to so many people lately? Its like these fires seem to be getting bigger each time. Pretty scary that with all our modern day technology, mother nature can still kick our asses. We must respect that and be careful when camping,, traveling, and going about our daily lives.

well....... thanks you guys for your concern and kind words, I just got home ,I am tired and look like shit ,but we held the fire line,the wind we expected never developed ,and we had the window we needed to contain 85% of it.As of monday night it is about 450 acres,but freinds of mine lost their little home and everything inside,but no casualties....thank God.....this place is now not only for sale...it's a fire sale ......like I said you guys are the best ,I think it's over now ...thanks
