Back to basics
Due to what appears to a lack of interest, and I will admit, I do not have any answers, WN, go back to basiics of site design. Perhaps, will spark life back in the site, and be more active. Not in my rhelm of expertise. Just saying. I apologize if I am out of line. Feedback, suggestions? Vip members feel free to mail me, and maybe we will be able to help come up with something, to "Save the site".

I dont think it's the site Perv, I think it's that too many of the people that are joining assume that it's a guarantee of getting laid. Most of what has made this site so cool has been the members, their personalities and their participation. There's some pretty cool people that have joined recently and sometimes, it just takes them a little while to learn to navigate and come out of their shells.

Good point Free. You know that several of us have tried posting useless crap (I plead guilty), just to spark it up a bit. When I got here in late 2010, the forums were smokin. Now it seems as if I am not here to check it out for several days, seems not much has gone on. Used to be so much more fun, thats all I am saying. Wish I had the answers. I kinda planned on going vip in September (long story. Chazzy knows), so I will just hang in there, and see what happens. Thx for your input.

Just an aside Free, I really was an ole rock and roller, mant years ago, different life. But as my oldest son is a boxer and masster martial artist, he just really never mentions it, and you woild never know. He is just so mellow. Back in the day, I was pretty much considered a bad ass, but I would never want to piss him off. Oh, and I will never have a clue how to read music. lol. Hope your career really takes off, will send you the address where to send my cut to.

Wow, 3 naturals. Ya, I was blessed with the voice, vibrato, match pitch for pitch, yadda yadda. Was shown a few guitar chords, etc., matched note for note leads, and a hell of a lot of practice, cause my hands and short fingers were made for doing heavy tire work. Never could get in the legue with a "Slow hand" Clapton. lol. Not happening. Have a great day Free. (and a bag of Cheetos, on me)

sometimes the site may seem slow, it all depends on the time of the year, when the summer is here (or there, depending on where you are), it tends to slow down. more people are on vacation, or out doing other outdoor activities.

I've moved this from "member support" to "general discussions"
It's already meandering off a bit off topic.
It has been quite awhile since the site had any changes or upgrades. Some things that have been discussed are adding to the forum categories, updating the naughty notes and adding some original articles to the community pages of "Articles and Info"
Some things would require quite a bit of work and committment. It would require delegation, moderators are just people with family, friends, work...a full life just like all of you and we can only do so much. I have no problem delegating to the right psople, but finding people to delegate to has been a bit rough. People with writing, editing, orginization and great communication skills as well.

You summed it up there, Free. The one group the internet adult sites attract the most are the single men . They may be married or have a SO, but they are here as a male profile. Next up... couple looking for a female.
What we need far more of...the single female . We get them but the main reason for them deleting their account is that they found someone.

This site like most if not all has waves. Some of it is weather related some is life related. People are stressed these days. The economy has caused people to cut back on things that might even include the Internet at their house. On top of that people are trying to work and support a family that sometimes includes 2 jobs so it limits their free time.
You might even see less people as time goes on due to another issue that has come up lately.Employers and Schools are starting to track the employees and students Internet activity. It makes people nervous. I think until it gets settled in the courts you will see people being careful.
There are employers who are now demanding FB names and passwords from prospective and ongoing employees. They are trying to get a law passed to prevent companies from doing this in the future.Most school networks High school and college track everything you do and even have filters to not let you go to certain sites even in the dorms. Many people use their lap tops from work and school those to are tracked and monitored.There was a school in PA that the principal or superintendent was able to see through the built in cameras, what the kids were doing if they left the computer on.Yeah he got busted but they say they were school computers and that he had the right.He would send them messages to "get back to work!" NOT sure how that ended when it went to court.

Ok. This is all I based this on. I got here early Nov. 2010. I jumped right into the forums, as all were cool (members), and the forums smoked. Then as expected, spring and summer lull. Granted. Began noticing, as all regulars can confirm, after those seasons, we have never picked up as before. Am I right, or wrong? Fortunately, one of the mods, no names mentioned (Chazzy), has said, there is a plan.

Left passion years ago, yes it may be slow here, but at least it's real people for the most part, the odd scammer, but passion and flirt I think it's called. majority of contacts were scammers. It may be seasonal or various reasons it's slow, but for the most part it's real here, and that I find refreshing.

As I have stated in the past, every site has its good and bad points. This one is small so much easier to ""police" for lack of a better term. The mods as well as members know how to spot cam girls etc..The disadvantage is it's small.lol That becomes a disadvantage because it is very noticeable when even a few dozen people back off for a while. On a big site that has thousands or even millions a few dozen or even a few hundred don't get noticed much if they disappear except if they are VERY popular.
I have no doubt there will be a time when this picks up. At this time you have more people than almost ever in a modern times that are struggling with day to day stuff. This will not be the main focus for them as I stated earlier as well as the other issues that have been big in the news about internet and privacy issues.Have faith it will return. Don't forget we also had a record breaking mild winter so people were not stuck inside as much as normally would be in those months.

In my opinion i would'nt worry about making major changes to the site.I have found that the personalities here are genuine and real.I live out in the cariboo region of british columbia Cananda on a remote ranch ,and i joined this site for human contact during the winter. I have a few very close freinds here now ,some,knowing the daily routine of my life ...there is a unwritten law here,or code we live by in the mountains ,and i would like to share it with you.....you never mess with a mans fence, livestock or family....there are a few here that are like family ,and families tend to resist change.having said that a heartfelt thank you to all who make this site possible...your efforts have not gone unnoticed

Aww Sybie, anyone who carries with respect any Mountain, country, hillbilly codes and philsophy has my heart.
No, no major changes, would love to see some "freshing" up like with the naughty notes but no major changes aanytime soon.
Since we don't have allot of tech upgrades here, the best we can offer is personal attention from the mods, helpful regs and VIPs and a friendly atmosphere.
The "nice rule" is key, we all have times when keeping our temper toned down can be difficult. Moderators are expected to be even more strict with themselves on that.
(It would be so easy if we could just stomp in and declare "Shut the fuck up or else" but we cannot expect all others to do what we are not willing or able to do ourselves.) It's not that we are just too sweet, it's not that we are too timid or scared of confrontation, it's a moderator rule to always deal with any conflicts respectfully and calmly. This rule came into affect when one morning years ago, I logged in to find that the site had blown up, canceled accounts and a whole lot of very angry people. It all came about because a moderator was treating people like total crap, a group of members assumed I knew this and therefore assumed I was supportive of this gawd awful behavior and they were angry with me. It took me two full days of many long online hours to clean up that mess that could have been avoided had someone contacted me about what was going on.
I think Newb refers to it as "sugarcoating"...but I tell ya, any moderator here has to have or learn crazy mad sugarcoatin' skills.
The nice rule is so important, when noobs or regs are browsing the forums, they have to have see friendly and tolerant behavior from all of us.
