Re: earthquakes
Is that in the area of the mysterious "booms" they have been reporting on lately?

Re: earthquakes
I have been keeping up with that news. We have been getting a few little ones in Missouri and Illinois lately.
We rarely ever have any tremors but it's been more frequent the past year.

Re: earthquakes
Yep we have had 2 in NJ in the last year. Its pretty much unheard of here.I heard they think it might have something to do with the "fracking " could possibly be part of the issue in some areas. Yeah we aren't fucking up the planet at all, are we?

QUOTE (ashkats @ March 23, 2012, 02:40)we still got the end of the world in Mayan yet too.was watching one native shaman was saying he was predicting the center of the us sinking and flooding , maybe this is a warning or whats yet to come .....inquiring minds want to know I find it interesting that the Mayans predicted the end of our world ,but never predicted their own extinction......i have also seen the pictures of the stone tablet that supposedly tells of the end of the earth this year, and it is broken off at a 45 degree angle and is incomplete...

Re: earthquakes
The other problem is that they can't figure out the exact date due to the way the world changed the way it measures time and the changes in the calendars. I was reading that the don't even know the exact birthday for George Washington. It seems the government estimated and assigned him a birthday. That was a much more current time and if they can't do that math, do I really except them to add all that extra time and figure it out?
Didn't the last guy that said he had the date right use the excuse his math was off so "oh well we didn't die I'll give you the new date". The second time he was just said "Oh well I guess I can't figure it out" lol

Re: earthquakes
That's just the popular quote going around on blogs and everyone's facebook pages.
Mayan calander measures in baktuns and was backdated by the Mayans about 3000 years before their own existance.
There are as many theories about the calendar as there are days in a baktun.
No matter what you believe, it's cool history stuff.

Bah. The Mayan calendar ends because they sacrificed the stone carvers.
