Never had possum...had turtle, squirrel, rabbit, frog legs, crawfish.
(Frog legs very big around here, it's the Friday night special, I don't like them.

Last night I was out very VERY late. Apparently, "Fun" is not really an answer in this establishment! I suspect the grilling could go on for days until I cop a plee for leniency or they forget what they were grilling me for in the first place.

Re: whats on the grill
er did pizza once , it was great. but think next time i will put some foil under it so the crust don't burn so bad.
then one tine we were up in the arrowhead of Minnesota, were out in the sticks and ran out of propane, ya can tell the heater in the pop up out of gas ,it starts GOING TICK TICK.....so no gas to make coffee and breakfast.well that makes ya do it the old fashion way in the fire ring, it has a grill,so get some maple burning and get the coffee pot on.still had one that can go on a burner or fire.but the best was scrambled eggs and bacon done on the open if and ya get some smoke fl aver and ash in there, it tasted great, even the toast, had a camping toaster for the burner.it drizzled all night so we waited for the sun to come up higher in the day to pack up.
we wanted to head down by split rock light house to take fotos, but then we hit fog were we stopped for the day, were we camped was on top of a 200 foot Cliff over looking the lake superior, the wind was just howling and the fog blowing around like your in a cloud.
we headed out the next day for lutzen and got closer to gooseberry falls.got lots of nice fotos of all the water falls north of Duluth, but didn't see the train museum or the aquarium too.
we got back to Superior and stop in a prk to grill some brats and have some chips and pop. there was a DQ near by had a craving for dilly bars after being in the stickes for a week or so....

I have had that wasp issue on more than one occasion.
I found a fix. I light the grill before I open the lid. Most die and the nest is gone!. Did I mention they scare the hell out of me? Yep I kill them if I can before they bite me. The spray just pisses them off the fire works great.lol
