Re: Empty Nest
I'll be there as soon as I can to help relieve the boredom. Isn't it funny that we always say " I can't wait until they grow up and move out on their own." Then we miss them when they do. The good thing is you know she is in a good place and you will still get to see her and the baby.
The other good thing is now we don't have to be so discreet in you apartment anymore. You might even be able to put that other room to a different use now.I'm thinking home gym, but I have a feeling you have a different form of workout equipment in mind.lol

Its a little pricey to buy some of the things I want. Power tools, wood, pulleys and rope. Thats a good start.

Re: Empty Nest
I want to be there when your daughter visits with the baby and you try to explain your idea of toys.
At least gym gear wont make your mother run out of your place screaming and thinking she needs to go to church and pray for you.

Re: Empty Nest
One of the things I love about Kam is how close he is to his daughter. I know it will be strange her being so far away for a while but I believe that when Kam sees how well she does as an adult on her own and a Mom he will feel better. It's just hard at first to let go.He raised a great girl who is a young women and her life is changing. I believe he has given her all the tools she needs to succeed in life.
As for a hobby, he has one . It's me.lol I like it that way. I have just had to be home for a while taking care of a few things so I have not been able to go there as often as I normally do. I hope in a few weeks things will settle down and I will be able to keep Kam busy for a while.
