That was then, This is now
We all know that things change over time, but so do our personal likes and dislikes. So I figured I throw this one out there to see what has changed in your lives. For me, a couple of examples would be:
For 20 some years, I wore a suit and tie every day. My shirts had so much starch in them that they could stand up by them selves and my ties had to be tied perfectly and tight around my neck. Now, if I wear a suit at all, its typically for a wedding or a funeral and I cant wait to get it off and back into my jeans.
Another one is beer. For the longest time, beer was by far my favorite beverage. Yesterday I cracked one open to go with the nachos I made and could barely finish the damn thing.
Same thing with cars. I always had Caddy's, Lincolns, Buicks and a BMW and a Benz. Now, you'd never see my white ass in anything but an SUV

i like my buicks and olds, haul my camper and boat with a explorerer. as for drinking dont do much anymore, but do like my hunter and earlytimes and gold millers too

Wore all ftom cover-alls to suit and tie's. Now, well, ya know. (Pictured. lol)Drank A L....O......T of booze, now, sporatic. Had 3 vehicles at a time. Now, thank you. City bus. I'm good! Used to out, anf party and socialize, a lot. Now, I need a nap.

20 years ago, I could swing 50-50 pound boxes from one pallet to the other without a problem. Now I can't bend over to tie my shoe without making old people noises and possibly pooping myself...

The car thing for me is a big change. Always had sportier type cars===always 2 door
I really like the Jeep, It rides well and corners well for all leaf spring.
had lots of heavy manual labor jobs. While I still do some If it's necessary, it's no longer a usual happening.

i remember candy bars were twice as big, and cost half as much. i would much rather drink a soda from a glass bottle than a plastic one. (hehehe i said SODA  )

remember whe ya could go to mc d's and get 2 cheze burgers a small fry and coke for .95 cents and get change back from your dollor too
oh also kraft mac and cheeze ya got 5 for a buck , now yor lucky to get one....

I have always cooked and baked a lot. I always made everything from scratch. In our house that's just the way it was. We thought we were cheated as kids because we never had TV dinners. Now I am content having a bowl of cheerios for dinner. And if I make cookies I can have few and then I get nauseous and have to worry about cholesterol. I used to be able to eat the whole batch and a half gallon of milk without a second thought or putting on an ounce and had low cholesterol.
I also used to first go out to clubs at midnight.Now I have a hard time making it to the 10 pm news. I haven't made it to midnight on New Years in years.
I remember going to the gym for hours to work out and love it. Then I would still go out dancing that night then go home have sex for hours and still make it to work the next day. If I tried that today I would most likely end up in a morgue by the end of my night. I don't do that much in a week anymore.

When I was a kid, had to walk all the way across the room, to change the channel. Ya, we were rugged back then.
