bad robot
we with all the robot which were the best, ya got the darlecs, the Ceylon's, and the terminator's and gort the old verses new and the i even seen Robbie the robot on lost in space last night verse the lost in space robot.
they were all cool in their own ways. the darlec's are now flying around and dropping bombs off their body's and the usual "exterminate"and they wiped out all the time lords.
then the ceylons, there standing order for humans was extermination and that's what they did to the colony's, and the old versus new.then the terminator they kill just about every one on earth and love to stomp on skulls ..ill be back. then we got girt the old one was better then the new i think. and last was Robbie from forbiden plant he was a useful tool so i don't know how he got on lost in space fighting that robot lol what ya think

When I saw "bad robot', Saturday night's Lost In Space came to mind first. I'm not clear on everything you wrote? I think you said, "How did Robby the robot from Forbidden Planet get on "Lost In Space" I am not sure except guessing not a lot of robots used in movies. And, Forbidden Planet was filmed in 1956, and Lost In Space in 1965.

2 more robots i over looked rosie and the transforms ,they too have been around for years, i got all transformer toys for the kids , the didn't last long though....
there wasn't a lot of robots back in them days , gort looked like it was foam rubber and the munsters tin can man .......

Personally, I like the "Skeleton" Robot on the late night tv show with Craig Ferguson. The robot, "Geoff Peterson", was built for Ferguson by Grant Imahara, from the tv show "Myth Busters". Geoff is Ferguson's sidekick. Robots make excellent sidekicks. LOL.

Mine was really bad the other day... He stole my car keys! He kept banging into the table legs, until the keys fell off and then he sucked them up into the hopper, before returning to the re-charge station...Bad Robot!!!   What?!...

i was seeing that after some show we were watching, it was sneeking though the grasss and its head would pop up and they yell,"Bad Robot"...just gave us a laugh

Here's good one...When they were filming, "Jaws" around here, they had a small problem with a sail boat that kept getting in the frame and messing it up. In an effort to scare them out of the picture, they sent the robotic Jaws to leap from the water near them. Needless to say, it worked perfectly and nobody bothered them for the rest of the filming...Bad Robot!...

I watched the original (1965) Dr Who & The Daleks film the other day, starring Peter Cushing as The Doctor.
Inevitably they were captured and taken aboard the Dalek Mothership where the technological superiority of the Daleks (the most advanced race in the known universe) was amply demonstrated by their extensive use of reel-to-reel magnetic tapes and (best of all) lava lamps...
