Re: Grandfather
Ah yes. I remember when my 1st of a "few" grand kids was born. Standing there, looking through the glass at him, the thought was "Out with the old, in with the new". A real eye opener. Good luck with that Kam.

Re: Grandfather
An aside, not hijacking, just bragging. Had a pic of my 1st grandson, sitting on my lap, looked like a kid holding a baby. For real! My family trate, is looking much younger than we are. Works for me, as the oleperve can get away it. Back to Kam, congrats!

Re: Grandfather
I will check on him to make sure he is still breathing through the day. I don't think it has fully hit him yet.At least he didn't pass out when she told him. lol His daughter is a wonderful young woman and I'm sure will make a great mom. I love them both and I'm excited for them.

Yes, do that. It can be a major blow to one's system when you're told. Especially for men. We don't tend to think of ourselves as Grandfathers when it's first revealed to us.

Re: Grandfather
His daughter is his love of his life. I think its hard to think of her as a Mom and not his little girl. You should have seen his face when we were in a mall one day and passed a store I think it was Victoria Secret. I saw a bra and panty set in the window that was really young and cute and definitely his daughters style. I said to him that she would love that. He just looked at me and said "I can not think of my daughter wearing a thong and a bra like that, as far as I'm concerned she is still 10 years old and still wears those little cotton panties with days of the week on them, she did as a little girl." I just laughed and told her when we got home. She then rolled her eyes and asked me to take her shopping "WITHOUT HIM!".
At least he hasn't tried to kill the father yet for doing this to his little girl.lol You men are so weird.

Re: Grandfather
Thanks I'm ok at the moment, It hasn't really sunk in. Except suddenly I am starting to feel the urge to join a baseball team, bike, buy a '78 Camaro and hit on chicks just out of high school.

Then you're perfectly normal. But wait till it gets to the point when you walk into a room and he or she gets a glimpse of you and smiles like you're the only person on Earth. You'll forget the High School girls and muscle cars real quick. Just dont let anybody sucker you into changing diapers. That still sucks.

I can put up with a lot but I draw the line at you hitting on high school girls. To be honest I'm not to big on the idea of the 78 Camaro either. But I bet I can make you feel young.
