Frontal Cortex
I have read much during the past..oh say 5 to 8 years about all the studies that conclude that we (humans) do not have a fully developed frontal cortex until our mid 20s.
More recent studies and research is now indicating that the frontal cortex may not be fully mature and fully functionally until as late as our 30s and 40s.
Now, thinking back on your own life with honest hindsight, doesn't this just explain so much?

Re: Frontal Cortex
I've always believed no matter your age you can learn everyday. Some think you can only learn from those more experienced in life. I believe we learn from everyone.Sometimes we learn from others mistakes or sometimes we learn from others openness to the world. I have seen children do things and thought many times " that's a lesson learner for me." Children have no fear so they experience things in a different way. I know we seem stupid sometimes when we look back at ourselves at 20 or 30 or even 16 when we thought we knew it all. I maybe.thought I knew a lot.lol I definitely never knew it all and still don't. I wont be shocked to see a study that says our frontal cortex is never fully developed but ever changing.
